SURPRISE ALBUM!
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8A95FA37

I wrote a single-track album called Toevah. 49 minutes of drone.

blueyxd 04-26-2009 05:39 AM

I swear I'm going to record something soon with my new found computer effects station setup. I have one riff and need to build on it

gaslight 04-26-2009 05:40 AM

Aaron you're mental.

Aaron 04-26-2009 05:40 AM

DPIdrugsandfraud, lol. What's that dude's website again?

I've written 53 tracks in 12 months, lol.

Aaron 04-26-2009 05:42 AM
Aaron you're mental.
gaslight 04-26-2009 05:51 AM

gaslight 04-26-2009 06:07 AM

Anyone ever earned a multi-CD copier?

I'm in the market for like at least a 1:7 and I can't find any useful reviews of hardware.

Aaron 04-26-2009 06:14 AM

Anyone who gets to the end and I see it on last.fm gets a postcard from me.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 04-26-2009 06:45 AM

31 minutes through Aaron

gaslight 04-26-2009 06:47 AM

New soundcard for me this week I think, time for Tiger Panic to kick on again.

Aaron 04-26-2009 06:48 AM

Nice. You better not have it muted.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 04-26-2009 06:51 AM

nope i have the playstation muted though so i can hear it.

Aaron 04-26-2009 06:57 AM

cool

gaslight 04-26-2009 06:58 AM

What are you playing on Playstation? I hope I have enough free time for videogames when God Of War III is out.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 04-26-2009 07:13 AM

Tiger Woods 09, doesn't really need sound.

I haven't played any of the God Of War games, what's the main idea of it?

gaslight 04-26-2009 07:19 AM

Slaughter your enemies and solve some puzzles. Cool storyline too.

gaslight 04-26-2009 08:45 AM

'Sup tonight guys? I'm burning some CDs and having a go at sight reading random tunes out of the Real Book to jam on guitar with.

Meatplow 04-26-2009 10:08 AM

fighting off being unable to sleep :(

reading Thus Spake Zarathustra, one of these days I might finish it lol

gaslight 04-26-2009 10:32 AM

Yeah it's not really a page turner.

Man there are so many beautiful chord movements you can pick up just by picking songs at random from the Real Books. More II V's than you can poke a stick at too haha.

Anyone doing anything fun on the public holiday?

blueyxd 04-26-2009 01:57 PM

working :(

blueyxd 04-26-2009 02:24 PM

Hey Matt, have you heard Grüvis Malt? They are mostly progressive jazz rock with funk and hip-hop influences. Kind of like Atlas Weights but with a much more modern sound. I'd recommend Malaise for a starting track.

Aaron 04-26-2009 03:23 PM

Yeah, what public holiday? I'm at work.

horseypie 04-26-2009 03:55 PM

horseypie 04-26-2009 04:47 PM

blueyxd 04-26-2009 04:53 PM

I bought three text books in uni, all in the very first semester. Then I realized I could get by without them and did.

Aaron 04-26-2009 05:25 PM

I've got a Quantative Methods exam in a week. No idea what the subject is about.

Yeah, they were/are one of John's favourite bands (Atlas Weights guitarist). Cool stuff.

Aaron 04-26-2009 10:50 PM

Sup Matthew?

Meatplow 04-26-2009 11:21 PM

I really wish I didn't unfold my green screen I just bought, it's as big as a football field and I am finding it impossible to fold up again. Should be fun to play around with though.

gaslight 04-26-2009 11:29 PM

Are you gonna do a test run of it?

Aaron 04-26-2009 11:32 PM

It's easiest to fold if you do folds on the 22 and halfway.

gaslight 04-26-2009 11:47 PM

Yeah gotta take the corner posts out too or you'll tear it.

horseypie 04-26-2009 11:48 PM

snypaaa

Aaron 04-27-2009 12:03 AM
Yeah gotta take the corner posts out too or you'll tear it.
Matt Dunning is pretty good at green-screen folding [and folding car doors].

gaslight 04-27-2009 12:23 AM

Progfest tickets available now for Sydney folk.

Aaron 04-27-2009 12:29 AM

Are you going? When is it?

gaslight 04-27-2009 12:32 AM

It's the 16th and 17th of May and I'll probably be there for at least one day.

Meatplow 04-27-2009 01:47 AM
Are you gonna do a test run of it?
Yeah man, my computer is playing up big time atm though and I can't run any programs so i'm gonna have to leave it for a bit.
It's easiest to fold if you do folds on the 22 and halfway.
