Where do u guys hear AVA "The Adventure"?
i don't like 2 watch it with the video on www.angelsandairwaves.com cause I got slow dial up and it takes 4ever 2 load.

yourstruly 03-17-2006 02:30 AM

It's on Limewire, if you have that.

Bad Blood 03-17-2006 10:19 AM

"Angels and Airwaves "We Don't Need to Whisper" in-stores May 23rd"

Ross 03-17-2006 11:26 AM
that would be amazing. hurry up and finish it.

for the ska section are you actually going to have horns? or just ska guitar/bass/drum stuff? either way would be sick.
Hmm I'd never even considered horns... I guess it would work if it was done right; I know nothing of writing music for horns though o_O I guess some simple fills around C major would fit (duh), and could slot in just after each line of the song. Hmm.

But hell yeah I'm up for a "Blink thread band". I can do bass or guitar- my drumming ability is severely lax <_<

Get Fighted 03-17-2006 04:39 PM
I reckon the regulars of this thread should do like a Forum Band, but just this thread, for a Blink song?
It would be cool to do Stockholm Syndrome i think, i could do Mark's vocals in it probably.

punkrocker-182 03-17-2006 05:01 PM

Has anyone seen AVA's website?. They are playing two California shows in April. Even though i wont be at thier first concert now, i think it is great they are playing thier own shows (i.e. not festivals or as support) in thier home state as thier first concert.

I just burned all of Big Day Out onto a DVD an I'm watching it right now. Score! :D

I'm surprised at the good quality compared to the computer.

Get Fighted 03-18-2006 04:15 PM

Haha, they sold out the Ventura show in less than a day. Not bad for a band with no formal release.

punkrocker-182 03-18-2006 06:40 PM

Ahh,
I couldent go anyway.

"Tom Delonge, Tom Delonge Tom Delonge", they only care about the band cos of Tom.

plaidbassbilly 03-19-2006 05:40 AM

If they announced a tour in Australia I'd probably go, one of the factors being Tom. It would be interesting.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-19-2006 05:51 AM

I wanna hear their full album before I start thinking about going to shows, as I'd assume it to be pretty ****in' expesive, and I am a poor sack'a dang...
Though, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like it, haha.

soulseek. :D The whole show too I think. It might be missing one because it kinda skipped on the show. Or maybe I put one in the wrong order or something.

That's a good idea, although a little greedy I guess.

I was contemplating borrowing The Mark, Tom And Travis Show from the library and pretending I'd lost it, so I'd have my own copy, but my conscience wouldn't let me.

yourstruly 03-20-2006 02:03 AM

Mark, tom and Tarvis show sells pretty average price over here, even though it's fairly rare and this is a small country.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-20-2006 05:49 AM

I got mine off the shelf at JB 'bout 5 or 6 years ago.

I wonder.....

...if blink have any recorded shows, like MTATS, from a recent show, that were never released. If so, they should release it, as a new CD, even if they're not together. I don't care! I just want more blink stuff that I can blow all my cash on...

Sorry, I like to dream.

Agent_Orange 03-20-2006 09:25 AM

bah thats exactly how I got my copy. Except I opened a faulty account so when I never returned it I didnt have to be bothered with the stupid phone calls.

Get Fighted 03-20-2006 11:03 AM

Some AVA song clips. Ive only downloaded "It Hurts".

dancetomdance182 03-20-2006 08:44 PM

The songs aren't that good. Seriously, I like that new Ashley Parker Angel songs more than those clips. But The Adventure and Good Day are good.
