I think a lot of people are getting tired with MX lately.

I'm working on bringing my PPD down :)

superpeer 05-16-2005 11:24 AM

I haven't been around much either.

evening MX.
relating to the school rock night thing that was on the last page, my brother (he's 11) will be singing Run to the Hills (Iron Maiden) at his school's next "X-Factor" competition  he's a pretty good singer, especially considering his age, but the none of the other kids do anything heavier than Green Day

Arucard 05-16-2005 12:10 PM

Bobo is playing Guild Wars all the time. Just like i wasnt posting because of The Matrix Online.

munky_magik 05-16-2005 12:48 PM

So as a reward for me having finished smy exams and school, my family decided to go to Frankie and Benny's. We had a nice time, but by far the highlight of the night was catching my Mum trying to hum along to H.M.J by Dream Evil on the way home.

I can see that happening. That's great. It's a good thing he's 11, man, because if he were 12 or 13, he'd be going "Ru-Uhyh-n to the Hyilllllllllllssssayuhs, run foyr your liiiiiiivvyuhs".

The only males who can sing like Bruce Dickinson are either prepubescent or Geddy Lee.

I went back to my high school today, and it was pretty distressing.

I sort of got it.

Firecracker 05-16-2005 02:07 PM

I'm very annoyed, AND EXCITED! that Dream Theater, Funeral For A Friend and Avenged Sevenfold's new albums are out on the same day, a lot of money i have to save up to get them.

Permanent Solution 05-16-2005 02:21 PM

Hello everyone

I won't be checking what I miss but I'm around a little bit until I start work in a week or so, hurrah. I got a 4.0 this semester and I'm soooo happy. Anyways, carry on :-/

Well, I was sitting in on a junior math class (pre-calculus, I think) and there was one kid there studying for some test on the Civil War that a few other kids had already taken. He was like, "Do we need to know about MacClellan?" and everyone else was, "Nah" and he skipped that section. He was like, "Do we need to know about Shiloh?" and everyone said "no" and he skipped THAT section, and so on.

Basically, the only thing kids bother to learn is what they think will be on the test, which they then forget after taking the test. The education system needs to be overhauled.

MAthiAS 05-16-2005 02:31 PM

So uhh, good afternoon all... I'm here slowly writing an essay on The Catcher in the Rye...

A lot of my friends do that, it does begin to annoy me, also. I actually like to read my history book, and as nerdy as it may sound, it's the most beneficial thing to do.

CemetaryGates9 05-16-2005 02:44 PM

System of a down is gonna drop Mesmerize tommorow, and I might be able to get it.

Today at school some kid told me that he told the principal I sexually harassed him. He better be lying.

I'm gonna start writing a play today. Because I can.

That's all. Hi.
That guy that played uncle rico in the most horrible movie ever made, Napoleon Dynamite
Whoa, I thought I was the only one who hated that movie with a passion..
Post
What kind of play are you writing? Someone said you sexually harrassed them? Can't that get him in trouble if they find out hes lying?

Josh 05-16-2005 02:57 PM

I havn't seen Napoleon Dynamite, is it worth telling me what it's about?

TheDMV 05-16-2005 03:00 PM

The movie has absolutley no plot. I loved it though. People kind of ruin it for you though by over quoting it.

NP: ELP - Lucky Man

Illmatic 05-16-2005 03:03 PM

It isn't about much.

It was became popular once people start repeating its catchphrases over and over and over and over and over and over.

CemetaryGates9 05-16-2005 03:04 PM
I havn't seen Napoleon Dynamite, is it worth telling me what it's about?
Most would argue its about nothing. I suppose you could say it's about a complete loser who helps a new kid run for class president.

I saw parts of it and laughed, but just because my brother was laughing his ass off.

Eitri Is Berserk 05-16-2005 03:05 PM
I havn't seen Napoleon Dynamite, is it worth telling me what it's about?
I hated it. First of all, as DMV said, it has no plot. But I could care less about the plot. The creators of it were going to a stupid funny, I do beleive, but only got the stupid part, if you ask me. Basically, the 'plot' follows the main character around, trying to get laughs at everything the kid did. I thought he was a moron, and wasn't funny, at all. If you like stupid funny movies, go ahead and watch.

It is a load of crap.. It makes it sad that its so popular.. Really says a lot about Americans.. :/

Dancin' Man 05-16-2005 03:24 PM

I liked it the first time I saw it, didn't the second and hated it the third. Because I was hooking up during the first, I fear my opinion of the movie was biased that time. I am now quite sure it is a terrible movie and angry that people find that funny and not Blazing Saddles.

Blazing Saddles is awesome...as is Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Spaceballs: the Movie

Mel Brooks' movies are great

Spaceballs owns, I must admit. I actually just watched that last weekend and still laughed. No matter how old I will get, I will still always laugh at stupid and pointless humor.

Josh 05-16-2005 03:34 PM

I havn't seen any of them for a while, at least 6 months, but it makes me laugh just thinking about parts of some of them, like the quarter staff fight in Robin Hood: Men in tights, and the "Megamaid" in Spaceballs. and of course the bean eating scene and the toll booth in Blazing Saddles

EDIT: going for sleep now, bye all

Have a nice sleep. The bean scene is an absolute classic.

I resent that, to an extent, being that I'm and American and I hate the movie as well.
