Hey jacaranda, I'm visiting missoula for a college visit in april, but we have a lot of extra time. What's good stuff to do there?

I'll be with my mother and my younger brother who's 12. I don't think either of them would oppose outdoors type stuff as long as it's not too rigorous. But pretty much anything that's interesting.

Well about 30 minutes north of Missoula is the Bison Range which is always a good choice. Then about 30 more minutes north of that is Polson which has a really big and nice like (Flathead) and that’s a great place to go hang out for a day and just like swim around and BBQ. We also have a new skate park and water park if you’re into those things. You can hike up the giant M on Mt. Sentinel. Uh you gotta go check out and buy a CD from the Ear Candy the local store it’s pretty sweet not the biggest selection but the guys who own it are really awesome. Downtown is really nice and I would recommend just walking around it and seeing the sites. Also depends when you would be here we have a big Art thing on the first Friday of every month were are the art galleries show off their art and then on Wednesdays there is like a big luncheon thing that band come and play and people just sit around and be dirty and hippie like.

be sure to remind me when you actually come here and I can recommend you places to go and do stuff at. its a pretty sweet town. and if there is anything else you specifically want to know about feel free to ask. for some reason i can rant on and on about how nice missoula is yet I can't wait to get free of it.

Man, thanks so much. :) You make it sound like a pretty sweet place. I can understand what you mean about leaving though, just because there's so much good stuff to go and do in the world that it would kind of be a shame not to try to experience some of it.
