OH COME ON!
The Exploited came before the punX age.
They pioneered the punx.

SantaDuJuan 04-22-2006 07:11 PM

My apologies mister, I never learned about the art of punx.

Except that The Exploited arn't!

Liebensaft 04-22-2006 08:08 PM

We all know the Causalties are infintely more punx than any other band ever.
Oh, so I was right. You did mean your Physical Education shirt, not Public Enemy shirt! Haha cool. I like it. Are they gonna let you wear it in P.E. though?
I was wrong...:p

Yeah, as long as I keep the duct tape over Mr. Marley's joint.
I'm sorry, I can't really get anything on the Search, how do you make patches/stickers with stencils? (Or can you show me the post that talks about it?)
for stickers i always go to the post office and just take those ones that say form: and To: they are free but they get pissed if you take the whole pile of them so just grab them and go you can peel them a little and stick them together to make a bigger sitcker it is kinda fun to just take all of the ****ing things right in front of the people because they can't stop you but they get all pissed and they know you are going to stick them all over the city

BCT 04-22-2006 10:42 PM

Exellent. Absolutely excellent.

Right now I'm working on a stencil that doesn't mean anything to anyone but me, and local people that are older than me. It's this shirt for a theater in my town back in the 80's that my mom used to work at. She also designed the shirts. I own about 4 of the original shirts (although three of them were reject shirts because the screen-printer messed up) but since I wear them all the time, they're fading and peeling, so I don't want to ruin them. Instead, I'm going to make a stencil of the shirt and make a shirt. I will also make shirts for other people that used to work there, that no longer have their shirts. They'll be really thankful for it.

This is the old shirt: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/bijou.jpg

This is what I have done so far:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/bijou1.jpg

It's nosferatu.

AIRIC 04-23-2006 01:16 PM

That's a really cool shirt.

That looks really sweet but it's probably going to be tough.

My DIY skills continue to lack. It's because I don't have the patience.

I like that a lot. Do you have a folk project?

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-23-2006 02:38 PM

Folk project?

D & V 04-23-2006 02:39 PM
Folk project?
do you make your own folk music

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-23-2006 02:40 PM

I play acoustic guitar. Does that count?

asdf 04-23-2006 02:54 PM

Well, this is how my practice stencil turned out. I'm not totally happy with it. The eye and some of the face got messed up in a way that I don't really like, and the painting was un-even. I'm kind of happy with the ear, though. That was not fun to cut.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/nosferatu.jpg

When digging through my mom's collection of old shirts, I found this one (It's only the front. The back was cut off and my parents can't/wont explain why). I love my parents, and their obsession with zappa.

Yeah I just stopped. I didn't want to cover the whole thing and I wanted them to just kinda break off.

Your guitar looks pretty cool.

What are all those bottles in the background?

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-23-2006 04:02 PM

Jones bottles.

Ghostfire3 04-23-2006 04:16 PM

Yeah, that's what those are! I knew those looked familiar. I used to drink that stuff all the time but then they stopped selling it around here.
