English. What we have to do is pick a song and find a poem with a similar topic, right 2 paragraphs comparing and contrasting the song and the poem, and I have to find the literary devices in the song.

I've done similar assignments. they are kind of cool, but sometimes it is hard to find a poem related to the song.

Yeah, that's why our teacher just said as long as it's remotely similar, he doesn't really care.

Well do "Autumn" by Kill Your Idols. Then find some stupid poem about autumn. Not really what the song is about but it will work.

Do a song by a band, and another song about a similar topic but read the second one as a poem and name the author the singer.

The Refused song requires a little more depth into it, but that means easier to BS.
