no, mathcore is just a blanket term used to describe technical, occasionally weird time signatures hardcore-influenced bands, but it doesn't really exist.

If Misery Signals wrote songs like their better songs only, and had a good singer, then they'd be awesome.

Unfortunately their music's only good in some songs and their singer is horrid.

i saw misery signals like 2 or 3 years on strhess tour and i must agree on the fact that the singer is no good. another band, whos singer i dont like is the human abstract

I'm the opposite actually. I prefer any other song on that album to Failsafe; particularly Anchors, Face Yourself, Post Collapse etc.

Adam D. of Killswitch Engage put too much of his band's style into the new Parkway Drive album and totally ruined it. i know most of you guys dont like PD already but i was a fan of Killing With a Smile and was really excited for this release. this makes me hate Killswitch Engage even more now

JFAC sucks, ASP is mediocre. I don't like "Deathcore", for some reason I just like The Faceless because they are progressive. I'm sure I have heard all of the bands you have in the genre, and possibly more, but thanks :thumb:
