Be prepared for like 10,000 hits in 48 hours, if not sooner.
Try ordering it from UO or Vagrant, they should both handle Europe.
There's always eBay too.
I have no clue what UO is, and ordering from Vagrant the shipping costs 22 USD, which I'm not prepared to pay. I might try eBay, though. |

Thanks. The shipping there is only 4 CAD, but I'm not feeling confident since you said that they have lost all your orders. I'll have to think about it, I guess. |
They've switched their store around since I last ordered from them though. They're running it themselves and have a more professional staff than they used to. I always got what I ordered, it just got lost hah.
|
when are you gonna publish your review, nig
|
Tonight after the Raptors game. I'm re-writing some stuff before I let it sit. It's long but it shouldn't be a hard read, I've spent more time organizing my thoughts into flowing sentences than I did actually writing it.

so i fianally found a working version of 'the Sequoia Throne' and i must say that this is amazing. im hoping the rest of the album is this good. which i have no doubt that it will be
|
What do you mean a working version?
|
There is no the.
Also:
The two tracks heard prior to release give a skewed idea of what’s to come, since Bloodmeat plays it safe and Sequoia Throne is not only sort of obnoxious, but it is one of the few tracks that doesn’t sound better when put in a complete tracklist.
|
What do you mean a working version?
yeah
There is no the.
my bad i was just saying it as the site had it written |
Ok... Well nevermind, I found it.
|
i love how rody's vox sound now, they've improved much from kezia.
is there as much layering on his vox in this album coke? |
No. He harmonises his screams with growls a lot but it's not the same.
|
Just preordered that cd/shirt/poster deal as well.

My bad, then. I just assumed that you didn't get your stuff at all. |
My bad, then. I just assumed that you didn't get your stuff at all.
Well the first shirt I ordered I didnt' get until Arif grabbed it for me, but this was around four years ago, when UO was less than big and ran their own store. Then Killthe8 ran it, and they sucked at it. Now UO is running it again but they're much bigger (and affiliated with Universal now) so I'd imagine it's much more effective. |
No. He harmonises his screams with growls a lot but it's not the same.
alright cool cause his vox were a little bit too layered for my taste on kezia, but i still loved em |
Just preordered that cd/shirt/poster deal as well.
Was there a place on there to tell what shirt size? |

There's a local band here that's playing with these guys in Lethbridge Alberta. The kids are like 16. I'm not huge into them, but props on them for hooking up a gig with a pretty big band like PtH
|
That's how Protest started out, as 15, 16 year old kids who played every single show they could get.
|
Here's a link to their band. We've played a couple of shows with them....they're alright kids.

Protest played there before when Marco was filling in, its cool they're doing a stop on the way out west before they start the tour in Vancouver. Goto that show if you still wanna have the chance to be 2 feet away from the band with no stage.. The venue is half a gymnasium with terrible fishbowl acoustics that might have a hundred or double kids inside. Enjoy the hick'ish(Cletus, Billy Bob) inbred looking dancing ninjas. Chances are attendees will be able to grab Fortress 3 days early. |
Someone on Protest's last.fm page claims to have found a watermarked copy of Fortress in a second-hand shop in the UK. He wants to rip it to his computer, but it spits it back out of the drive -- does anybody here have a way for him to successfully do it????
|
If he actually has a copy (doubtful) he literally can't- any promo cd they sent out can only be played on a cd player/cannot be used on a PC cd/dvd drive.
This is according to Mr. Tyler Munro on last check though, maybe someone has HAXXED THE SYSTEM. |
Copy it to tape, and then transfer the tape to mp3.
BORDELLO BEATS THE SYSTEM. |
Send the kid that equipment plz
|
A little over a week left guys. :D
I'm curious if they'll actually be able to hold onto it until it's actual release though. That rarely happens nowadays. |
i know they always seem to leak online and through limewire nowadays. im still just looking forward to it hitting the shelves
|
Pretty sure it already leaked.
|
And where would that be.
|
i was sure it would happen, whatever not gonna download it anyway
|
The funny thing is that kid is totally wrong.
Doesn't show up in torrents, blog searches, or soulseek. I'm having someone check limewire but I seriously doubt that lol wrong. |
