This might have already been asked but what does everyone think of the Vermillion video/ song and What is your favorite slipknot music video Wait And Bleed (animated) Wait and Bleed Live (terrible IMO) Spit It Out Left Behind My Plauge (bad as well) Duality and Vermillion i think thats all of them.

im sorry but how can you like slipknot?? if you are 13 and under in understand but once you are 14 you should definitely look at more mature bands....bands that are real metal and not nu-metal.....

Oh, wow, how much smarter and more sophisticated you are than everyone else.... |
Which slipknot songs do you guys listen to when you're really pissed? I usually blast Surfacing or Everything Ends, when i'm in a bad mood.

People = Sh*t The Heretic Anthem Wait and Bleed (sic) Surfacing Get This |

True (MFKR is also my favorite Slipknot album), but it was also a different band. I try not to compare it with their newer work. Anders Colsefni Donnie Steele Josh Brainard Paul Gray Joey Jordison Shawn Crahan Only three of those guys are still in the band. |

That means four of the current members were involved in MFKR. Them, especially Corey, could bare a lot of the blame for their style changing so dramatically. |

Corey wasnt on MFKR.He joined shortly after it. |

Good point...you guys were right, I do feel stupid.

I listen to MFKR, and wish Paul would rip it up now like he used to. He was quoted saying that he "gets to show off a few times on the new album" but that he "prefers to lock into a really tight rhythm", with so many people in the band. Anyone who doubts Paul, listen to MFKR. I gained alot more respect for him as a bassist after hearing that, and after reading things where he talks like a musician as opposed just some dude playing bass. I still think Volume 3 is their best, as a whole, album. But MFKR is right behind it, for being probably one of the most original albums ever. |
You're right about Donnie. Jim came in on Iowa.
I completely agree with what you said about Paul. After hearing MFKR, I actually had to check to make sure he was the same guy. |

Corey was in Stone Sour at the time. Slipknot actually beat out Stone Sour in the Battle of the Bands. Corey came in to do backup vocals live, and Anders decided to quit. He did it on stage without notifying anybody else beforehand. Corey didn't work on the album, though, as far as I know. |
I only know one good slipknot's song and that's wait and bleed. If anyone knows some others (related to that one) please tell me it, cause I'd like to know.

If you want stuff like "Wait and Bleed", I'd suggest the following Liberate Surfacing Get This People = Shit Left Behind My Plague Spit it Out Diluted If you want good material that sounds nothing like Wait and Bleed The Blister Exists Duality Opium of the People Welcome Vermilion Pulse of the Maggots Before I Forget And if you want really weird, but good material Confessions Do Nothing / Bitchslap Tattered and Torn Killers are Quiet |
i dont have 20 favorite songs but my 2 favorite songs are snap (the 97 demo for anyone who doesnt know, not to bash anyone) and liberate. liberate uckfaying rocks! do not say anything bad about me because if you do, nothing bad will happen.....

You butchered pig latin... The correct phrase would be "Liberate ucking-Fay ocks-Ray!" uckfaying is not a word. |

Actually, I know...I realized that later but didn't edit it hoping nobody would point out I was wrong. :upset: Donnie left when he "found God." |
Well, as he found God the rest of Slipknot found $omething el$e.
|

Donnie left when he "found God."
this is something i heard, so im not sure if its true. but is corey taylor a christian? |
this is something i heard, so im not sure if its true. but is corey taylor a christian?
I don't know...he may label himself as one, but it would be untrue. I doubt it. |
I heard that Jim got arrested with Heroine, Cocaine, pot and Vicodin in a car crash, (i wish i was the car who crashed him) I wish I would be in Slipknot
|
Take all those drugs, maybe they'll let you in.
|
Paul is soooooooo awsome its not fair that he doesnt try anymore he tries as much as Lars these days!
MFKR is still there best album tho It annoyed me how they took Purity off and Frail Limb Nursery (which ive never heard) Purity is a awsome song the reason they took it off was that the story it was based on turned out to not be true but i think they should of still left it on |

Better yet, I wish I was the needle injecting him with the heroin!!!lol!!That would be soooooooo awesome!!!It was Paul, not Jim. |

i think your thinking of paul. |
i guess im stupid but i just realized that (sic) is basically a remix of thier first track Slipknot off mfkr.
|
i think your thinking of paul.
Yes, Paul was arrested after crashing his Porsche, and had said drugs in his car. They were small amounts though. About Donnie...yeah, it was Josh, my bad. I knew it wasn't Jim who played on the album, however. If Corey is Christian, he's a super-liberal Christian. I mean, writing songs like he does, singing "If you're 555, I'm 666"...Yeah. I mean, I sing the chorus myself, but I didn't write it... |
1. Duality
2. Vermillion 3. (sic) 4. Purity 5. People=**** 6. Plague 7. I Am Hated 8. Spit it Out 9. New Abortion 10. Metabolic 11. THe Blister Exists 12. Wait and Bleed 13. Opium of the People 14. Heratic Anthem 15. Left Behind 16. No Life 17. Me Inside 18. Surfacing 19. Snap 20. Everthing Ends This isnt the order in which I like them they are just my 20 favourite song. Personally Slipknot is my favourite band I like their heavy songs. My favourite song is Wait and Bleed. P.S. Mick Thompson Rulez |

That is one messed up Christian he writes songs about the devil. There band named is Slipknot and has a pentacle behind it. Like the other guy said "The Heratic Anthem" keyword "Heratic" 666=Satan. |

I wouldn't call him a messed up Christian. I mean, if every Christian guy who doodled a pentacle in class/at work was messed up.... Remember that not everyone is observant of their religion. |

no mick was deffinitly in slipknot wen they recorded s/t. jim joined shortly after. |

Yeah, but he didn't record MFKR, even though he's on the sleeve. |
