Mannnnnnn, haven't been on this forum in time....
...and in that time i've been producing baaaaaaaare tracks! http://soundcloud.com/vishushkillah any critique is welcome :) @Luc214: N-type - Dark Matter, has that similiar vibe to it, but its not too industrial sounding. Personally i'm more into my DMZ, distance, Goth Trad, Seven, Kryptic Minds etcc.... Anyone here go to the west indian centre in leeds? |
i went into a club last night for the first time in ages coz i got banned and it absolutely ****ing reeked of mephedrone. played some good DnB / dubstarp in there though.
|
Dubstep is really, really, really overrated. Everyone's been wanking over it the past few years but I don't get what the fuss about a genre of music in which every single beat sounds the same is. It's even more repetitive than DnB.
Here in England every Dubstep fan I've come across seems to be your typical obnoxious, white middle-class, weed smoking, trucker's cap wearing, Jamaican slang using wanker. |
cool story bro

Cheers. More to come in due time. |
Stereotypes are cool too.

LOL!!
that was like a column from the daily mail. LOL!! |
somebody with an ian brown avatar is trying to criticize other people's taste
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha |
he likes the smiths and the cult
sounds like your average lacoste polo wearing nob rash that I come across in clubs aka ****ing pricks |
"The Untamed Noise" has a real Kryptic Minds vibe to it. I like it a lot.
Big up man! :) I love kryptic minds haha.
Dubstep is really, really, really overrated. Dubstep is a very broad genre from rusko(****) to more drum based stuff like ramadanman all the way to melody driven guys like eleven tigers. Also theres all the glitchy stuff like joy orbison and james blake. So you can't really say the genre is repetative, just some artists within the genre are. |
Wheres the fun in that when you can judge a genre based solely on hearing the most commerical examples of said genre.
|
When I get told about a new genre I immediately look to its fans and what they wear to find out whether its good or not. Makes sense, no?

Ayyyye, exodus ftw! although last subdub was biiiiiig :D |
Anyone here go to the west indian centre in leeds?
Aaaaaaye! Well, I've been to Subdub twice... Really really enjoyed it. I'm not that knowlegable about dub though so cant say much about the music. Although I much prefer the more chilled out tunes in the bigger room. The other room is just too 'in your face' for my liking ... and it's easier to dance to slow tunes when under ket. |
This guys been KILLING it

I've heard PClart before. Forgot he had a release out cheers for the reminder dude. He certainly actually includes UK garage influences in his songs, you know like you're supposed to.
