I need some perfect death metal... I mean the guitars are amazing, the vocals kick ***, and the drums are ****ing awesome.
If you still want some good death metal with strong hardcore influence, check All out War, this band is amazing. They play some "bolt throwerian" riffs with a hardcore singer and some typical harcore parts.

And If you search some nasty death metal, you should listen to Immolation if you never had. Or Gorguts ! They are both unique, original, technical and... Well, they are just the best.

Jaundice 08-13-2009 10:12 AM

I'd listen to Gorguts if adb wasn't so busy hailing them.

I'll check out All Out War, tho.

Deth 08-13-2009 11:17 AM

shut up jaundice

and listen to gorguts

Jaundice 08-13-2009 11:33 AM

I spelled heil wrong :upset:

P13 08-13-2009 11:38 AM

Nah, Hail is good.

I'm almost ready to give Obscura a second chance. I actually like From Wisdom to Hate, but I remember Obscura being a lot more grating.

Txus 08-13-2009 12:07 PM

I like all of their albums but Obscura. I might give that a second chance too.

Deth 08-13-2009 12:20 PM

do it

vocally it's pretty grating, but hey

Txus 08-13-2009 01:24 PM

Yeah, I mean..I'm starting to enjoy Demilich a lot.

Will do.

Angmar 08-13-2009 01:27 PM

I like Gorguts vocals tbh.

Stormrider 08-13-2009 02:01 PM

Yeah, they're great.

Si1v3RfaNg 08-13-2009 02:02 PM

They rule on Erosion of Sanity.

Deth 08-13-2009 03:17 PM

but they're completely different on Obscura and pretty bad for the most part

iamtherobots 08-13-2009 05:17 PM

The vocals on Obscura are pretty badass, not gonna lie.

Angmar 08-13-2009 05:18 PM

They're better on From Wisdom to Hate tbh.

iamtherobots 08-13-2009 05:19 PM

Different =/= worse or better.

I like the distinctness of the vocals on Obscura... they work especially well with the screechy guitars.

Angmar 08-13-2009 05:22 PM

Vocals on From Wisdom to Hate are really similar though just better idk.

Jaundice 08-13-2009 08:32 PM

I have a difficult challenge for you guys if any one is willing to accept

I need modern day progressive rock, with more emphasis on progressive than on rock
and a strong sense of irony.

Plz no Porcupine Tree.

Txus 08-13-2009 08:41 PM

Gazpacho
