Uhm.

25 dollar MCR tshirts.

Size 4XL Inuyasha shirts for 300 pound 'catgirls'.

Avenged Sevenfold Merchandise

Sound's like hell to me.
catgirls? Bakaneko!

=p

Also, hot topic is kinda the suck. They do have some rad stuff, and the pins rock, but the stroe itself and most pf the merchadise sucks.

Also, me girly got me into MCR, along with a lot of this newer stuff. I hadn't heard of any of it. I'm so out of the loop with that's cool these days.

Electric Requiem 03-15-2007 08:19 PM
REQUIEM-
And yes, it got lost in one of the many fights I'm in tonight.

It sounded so nasty, definitely something to look into. But it seems to be more rhythm based (well obviously) but just like the notes have no good tune to them. Do they just make random sounds? Or do you have to preset each specific area to a certain tune/note/sound/whatever?
I have the seven zones set to different notes on the same voice on one instrument I'm using for the solo, and one set to different more percussive sounds. I'm overlaying the two instruments to make something that might actually resemble some sort of song.
And I am playing the actual solo with a metronome

On that recording I was just messing around to see how the quality would come out. 6 zones were set to different notes of one voice and 1 zone was set to the more percussive sounding voice.

For anyone who cares, I'm talking about my mandala pad, here's a link to the audio I posted.

Electric Requiem 03-15-2007 11:26 PM

Nice set, big upgrade from the swingstar (I think) you have now.
God I've posted my audio 6 times and gotten 2 comments.
Not a good ratio :(

Seafroggys 03-15-2007 11:28 PM

That set is perfect for you. Love the color.

that is because no one listens to anything in the media section

if you post on the main page you should get more of a response, but josiah will bitch at you

link plz?

p.s. it is probably for the best anyway, most people here are noobs and have no idea what they are talking about

Well...it's pretty awesome I think.

fishbulb 03-16-2007 01:09 AM

My computer has more problems with CS 1.6 than it does with source. That's weird.

Seafroggys 03-16-2007 01:13 AM

I wouldn't pay much attention to his opinion. Maybe if you bought a tabla set or something he'd say something nice, or a xylophone.

Sunshine 03-16-2007 01:20 AM

Well it's over ten years old and uses alot of outdated technology :-/

Charlie Daniels 03-16-2007 01:41 AM

hombre del plex: dude my opinion is better than most plebs on mx
seafroggys: heh
hombre del plex: it's over ten years old and uses alot of outdated technology :-\
seafroggys: true
hombre del plex: so what problem did you have with my comment
hombre del plex: "I wouldn't be paying too much for that..."
seafroggys: well knowing you I thought it was a snide/sarcastic remark about how ultimately crappy it was
seafroggys: I mean I'm not a fan of Pearl, but I think it's a decent set anyway
hombre del plex: well tbh pearl manufacturing practices have gone through the roof in the last 10 years
hombre del plex: those kits are on about a par with the current exports :-|
seafroggys: hmmm
seafroggys: maybe hardware wise
hombre del plex: i mean look at the mountaing system
seafroggys: well I hate Pearl's mounting system as it is
hombre del plex: you have limited tom placement due to the L rods, and they were abandoned by all manufacturers and replaced with the much better iso mount desgins
seafroggys: you're preaching to the choir
hombre del plex: but
hombre del plex: "I wouldn't pay much attention to his opinion. "
seafroggys: sorry it was a snide comment on my part :P

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-16-2007 02:47 AM

Why do you care so much if people like Pearl?

They make fine products, just coz you don't like them.

I don't like ddrum kits particularly but i dont whine about it

The Chemist 03-16-2007 05:01 AM
