best of luck with you man. i also had the same job as my girlfriend for a while. We'd talk all night, and hang out almoost every day. the whole time we went out, i never went a day without speaking to her. If it ever does end, that really sucks, but enjoy every moment you have, really. edit: to the other post, not the one about hte hotdogs. |
Well I need to go have some me time considering my fiance is on the other side of the world. :upset:
Catch you all later |

Catch you all later
see ya. dave: she totally broke up with me out of the blue. It seriously came out of left field. we were hanging out on a saturday and everything was fine, then on monday she tells me that she's been contemplating it for a while or so, saying that she can't see herself with me in the future. She said it killed her to do it, but it wasn't fair to me that she didn't feel the same way i did. I totally respect it though. i would rather her be honest with me than hide what she was really feeling. after a relationship gets that long, the only thing you want is for the other person to be happy. The downside is that she'd be happier without me, so i'll have to deal with if it's what she really wants. she wants to be good friends still, but i told her it will take a long time. she was my first everything, i more or less came into highschool as a freshman met her, asked her out a few months later, and it finally ended now, a freshman in college. |

You seem to be dealing with it very well, if it means anything. I'm sorry to hear that though, it really sucks <3 -Dave |
yeah it really sucks, but the times we had together were great so i'm not going to beat myself up over it. she told me that it wasn't my fault or anything like that, just the whole "we're growing up, and i need space" deal. if it was my fault somehow, i'd probably still be miserable because it would have been under my control and able to be fixed by me. but, it's not my fault, so i'm glad we had the amount of time we did. It deffinately made me a better person.

i'm out, later.

What's the point of being Amish?

The pawning hats? |
It's a simple way of life, appealing to some not so to others.
They don't have to be Amish, in most tribes it is customary to allow them a trial period some time between 17-20 years of age to try out modern life against their Amish life. If they would rather be part of modern American culture they are allowed to leave, and it is not really a scornful thing. It's just sort of like a trial of temptation from what I understand. |

yeah, I think Brad is confused. I'm going with the hats.
|
Psh...
It's pointless, no matter what anyone says. I'm Jewish, I could have an awesome hat if I wanted one. I'm just not big on hats... I guess it's because I have all my hair, not bald like some old man. |
I'm sorry, I researched them once. -_-
I prefer the beards to the hats, sorry. I think it is definitely the only rite of passage we as Americans have. |
I just got the best inspiration about my next song:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_90
There were 74 passengers (including 3 infants) and 5 crew members on board. All but 5 of the occupants of the plane died.
Also:
Pilot: "Forward, forward. Easy. We only want 500 (feet per minute)." Pilot: "Come on - forward. Just barely climb." Pilot: "Stalling, we're falling!" Co-Pilot: "Larry, we're going down Larry!" Pilot: "I know it!" (Sound of impact, end of tape.)
I want that part to be the end of the song. It's gonna be an acoustic song...now, if only I could write it. :( -Gav |
The Pilot's first line reminds me of "Machine Screw"

But hats...................anyone can pawn in a Abe Lincon hat. |
it's the hats.
|
Well I think it's awesome that you are thought of as a lesser man if you cannot grow a beard by 14-15.
But their hats are just straw farmer hats... top hats or bowler caps would be awesome. Interesting story about those bowler caps, they were only fasionable because men with gonorrhea/syphilis used to hide tools within their hats so they could clean their genitals in public restrooms. |
LMAO!

happy birthday Brad!
I can totally see where you would believe that it wasn't about the hats. But it is. |

You can just feel the manly testosterone oozing from every pore...............wait? THATS NOT TESTOSTERONE! |
Thanks.
I think the worst part is I am using my birthday money to pay bills rather than spoil myself. :p |
holy **** that makes you an adult.
|
Man.
Let me tell you. It is not easy to get around a city where nobody speaks, or wants to try and speak, English to you. |
I KNOW!
My birthday is so gray, it's terrible. The past 3 have been increasingly worse. :) |
