I'm in Tragic Vision from NJ. Check out our **** at www.purevolume.com/tragicvision or www.myspace.com/tragicvisiondude

Everything was recorded on a PC and the drums are from a drum machine. Vocals will probably be rerecorded. Let me know what you think.

By the way, we're looking for a drummer, so if you're interested contact us somehow.

when i think harcore punk band, and i see you picture, i get really confused...

not to bad tho. i had a hard time making out the vocals
Haha, yeah, we aren't you average TUFF hardcore kids. We like having a laugh. The vocals are recorded on a really ****ty microphone, so it always distorts them.

AndreTheHyena 09-08-2005 09:53 PM

I am in a band called Las Cruces. It's mainly just my outlet as a singer-songwriter, but I have a couple friends backing on bass and drums. I'll probably electrify it somewhere down the line, but right now we're just a rootsy folk band.

I have some early recordings, from earlier this year, on my myspace ( http://myspace.com/andrewthomas ), but they're pretty rough and the sound's changed a lot since then. Lyrically, the idea is to generally write songs that could have been written at any time in the past hundred years, though I do throw some politics in. Mostly I just really, really dig old folk, gospel, and rockabilly songs, so I try to recreate that, but with punk rock energy and attitude.

The end.

Special Brew 09-22-2005 01:47 AM

I am not a regular around here but I think I may start posting a bit more. I post in Hardcore/Emo quite a bit though. My band has been getting a lot of local attention lately, but our local scene sucks and is very small, so we are trying to get some attention via the internet.

Here is our websites:
http://www.myspace.com/almosteven
http://www.darkstarlings.com/display_profile.php?name=AlmostEven

The song we have posted were recorded before I joined the group, so you will only hear one guitar. They are also in very bad quality, but we will be recording an actual demo in a month or so, and I will probably post here again when that happens. Go ahead and add us on these sites and give us some feedback.

Btw, we have a big show tomorrow with Blame It On Rio, Daybreak Ends, and Allusion Coda. Blame It On Rio is a decently famous band who has opened for bands such as My Chemical Romance, and they are staying with us at our singer's house. We are pretty siked about that.

comedyoferror 09-22-2005 02:03 AM

HEY HEY. in a band website be www.myspace.com/comedyoerror, its an energetic fusion of punk/ska with hardcore influences apparantly! id way were punk, its like one member of less than jake gets the crap beaten out of them by converge in a dark alley way! or an owl on crack, thats what people say we sound like, as with everythin else the mp3s are of poor quality, but were only in to have some fun!
