Tyler 01-04-2008 07:17 PM

They replaced it with Bloodmeat.

C.O.A. 01-04-2008 07:18 PM

oh.

DWittisarockstar 01-04-2008 07:20 PM

Yeah, I found it and I'm listening to it now. I like Bloodmeat a lot better.

C.O.A. 01-04-2008 07:32 PM

I pretty much enjoy them equally.

illpressureurhinges1 01-04-2008 07:34 PM

I think Bloodmeat is better.

Capricious 01-04-2008 07:46 PM

Glad to hear your good feelings on the album and to a lesser degree the 4.0 ...4.4. Nice to hear that theres no 'well it felt rushed' since to my knowledge there was only material for 5 songs or so when they were doing the 'pre' pre production rehearsing. I was a little worried there might be low quality filler on the album.

"the initial omgomfgomfg" of songs/records is such a great high no matter what artist your listening to. No end to the re-playability factor and loving what your experiencing the whole time is an amazing feeling.

Tyler 01-04-2008 08:05 PM

Well it was initially planned as an EP, but they got more studio time than expected and it just sort of flowed out. That's why it was made into a 10 track LP. No filler because they wrote it all naturally.

Transient 01-05-2008 04:49 AM

Yeah, so this band is ok.

beans 01-07-2008 04:38 PM

this band is more than just ok

Tyler 01-07-2008 04:38 PM

He was being funny.

duckies 01-08-2008 08:25 AM

The Sequoia Throne single is on the American iTunes now. It comes with two bonus tracks, which are instrumental versions of Sequoia Throne and Bloodmeat.

I would buy but I am Canadian. *tear*

illpressureurhinges1 01-08-2008 04:09 PM

I would buy but I don't have iTunes...

Txus 01-08-2008 05:54 PM

I wouldn't buy

Eliminator 01-08-2008 05:55 PM

buying digital music kicks ***

illpressureurhinges1 01-08-2008 06:00 PM

It's better when it's free though...

Tyler 01-08-2008 06:01 PM

np: bone marrow :)

Static 01-08-2008 06:22 PM

stfu

I bought the EP just because I had money to blow.

Instrumental Blood Meat is relatively kick ***.

Tyler 01-08-2008 06:40 PM

I don't think I'd want an instrumental. The vocals are quite often the most impressive part on the album.

Static 01-08-2008 06:58 PM

I dunno, you can hear the bass so much more now. It's nice.

Tyler 01-08-2008 07:02 PM

You can hear the bass pretty well anyways though, it's shockingly nice to hear.

Static 01-08-2008 07:02 PM

Well, it's nice to hear the tapping part near the end so defined.

Tyler 01-08-2008 07:04 PM

I still think it's pretty defined but that does sound awesome. The bass is still really audible compared to Kezia, though at times the low-end gets drowned out by the non-stop riffing and guitar dubbing.

illpressureurhinges1 01-08-2008 07:07 PM

Rody's vocals are amazing. Instrumental PTH songs seem pointless to me.

Tyler 01-08-2008 07:08 PM

I wouldn't say pointless. But then again you were saying you dont understand the point behind instrumental music in general so yeah.

But Rody's vocal melodies tie a lot of it together. Like the narration in Arrested Development.

GOme 01-08-2008 08:41 PM

I don't like Rodsters' new hair/beard..for the video at least

Mainly what I was talking about.

Brilliant.

And yeah, I don't like Rody's hair.

Josh D. 01-08-2008 10:20 PM

I would buy the instrumentals if I cared enough, but I like the actual song.

I have a Rody impression now, but since I have no way showing it on here, I will type a transcript of it:

*Camera zoomed in to head shot*

"What's up, this Road the motherf***ing (head shakes quickly) Choad!"

That's it.

26 seconds in. Halahious.

And what the **** does hink mean anyways, some way of expressing humor I assume.

I think the instrumentals would be pretty kickass, especially being able to clearly hear the arpeggios at the end of Bloodmeat.
