If i had a car I would definitely be there. But since i don't, me and 2 of my friends are planning on going after either senior year of high school or freshman year of college.

jpj 03-02-2005 09:05 PM

If everything goes well, I hope to go to Bonaroo senior year instead of the beach like everyone else.

Do it senior year of high school, definitely.

We've been talking about this Berry Oakley Jr. guy....his father would be Berry Oakley AKA bassist for Allman Brothers?
anyone going to bonnaroo this year?
Heh, no offense but read the thread a bit before you post in it, the previous page deals with that question.

I'll be going though  , stoked.

Wilson 03-03-2005 09:04 PM

ah, sorry i read the first couple of pages, probably should have read the recent ones.

well im looking forward to going. Its a great line up so far, im just hoping that Les Claypool and Vida Blue get on the bill.

pegwedge 03-03-2005 09:14 PM

I see that the Dead aren't on the bill for Bonnaroo yet. Does anyone know if they're gonna tour this year or not?

It'll be the 40th annieversary so I'm guessing they'll do something...if Warren Haynes doesn't do anything with Mule I'm guessing The Dead will have a small summer tour.

Badmoon 03-03-2005 09:23 PM

I'd be completely fine if they only took Jimmy Herring (Amazing guitarist!), which they may. But being that Warren is an official member of The Dead, I doubt it.

pegwedge 03-03-2005 09:40 PM

Wow. I didn't even realize that this year was the 40th anniversary. They've come a long way from The Warlocks. :thumb:

nectarjam 03-04-2005 09:43 AM

I'd like to see the dead tour with Gov't Mule. Anyone think that could happen?

Jam2Me 03-04-2005 03:12 PM

Warren's arms might fall off if they do that :\

Kingadamx 03-04-2005 11:35 PM

I'm going to see Widespread Panic in Upper Darby, PA. If someone could recommend me a good studio album by them, it would be greatly appreciated.

Jam2Me 03-04-2005 11:56 PM

Space Wrangler would be a good reccomendation.

pegwedge 03-05-2005 12:04 AM
