I live right in Toronto, and only about 15 minutes away from everything: CN Tower, Opera House and all the other concert places, Sky Dome, ACC, Scarborough, Queen West, Eaton Centre, and all the other great stuff Toronto has to offer. I'm about a 2 minute walk from Coxwell subway station, so that should give you a good idea of where I live if you know Toronto.
