PG mics are not good, and the XLR cabling may or may not be ok.

if $ = quality, then what kind of quality do you need? if you're just looking for a recording for shits and giggles (or just for practicing) buy a $5 PC mic and use that. If you want a demo, go to a studio. If you want to go crazy doing your own recordings, make sure you have a stable, well paying job first.

Just checking:

1. Cut a full lemon in half.
2. Squeeze and rub it all around the cymbal.
3. After that, wait a minute for it to do its stuff.
4. Rinse and wipe it off.
5. Dry.

Rinse it with water. Dry VERY carefully.

I just squeeze the juice and use a cloth to rub it into the cymbal.
