I just did something revolutionary. I cut the gear thingys off of a tilter on one of my old stands. SHE GOES PERFECTLY LEVEL! Now I need better felts.

Anyone want to point me in the direction on gearless cymbal stands?
I hate gears.

DW's are fanastic. The 5k series, gearless tilters, very easy to use. Solid stuff.

Go see it, we had to actually sit on the floor to get in the theatre so we could get a decent seat.

I went to see my friend's soccer game tonight, and less than 10 minutes in, a kid from the other team takes a weird step as he's running and shatters his thigh bone (don't know the correct term for it). It was the grossest sounding thing I've ever heard. I didn't see it happen, but I heard what sounded like somebody slapping water, looked up from my reading (I was working on a home study course for food safety) and heard him yell out inbetween curdling screams "My f[size=2]ucking[/size] leg is broken. My leg is broken. F[size=2]uck. Fuc[/size]k. My leg."

It was his first indoor soccer game ever, and their whole team is new to the country. They just came over from Sudan a month ago, and in the first 10 minutes he snaps his leg.


My friend's mom was the only one there with first aid training so she was with him for the 20 minutes it took for the emt's to get there. They were totally clueless by the way.

The only reason i like pearl 2000 stands over these is that they have gearless "gyrolock" tilters which can tilt horizontally as well as vertically.

Ah indeed, i had forgot about those. Also excellent stands. Though I useally use the boom arm rotation for the 'tilters tilt' hahaha


I agree, drugs can be a supplement. Just as I enjoy skydiving, rollercoasters and surfing.. I don't [I]need[/I] any of them. But they are fun and enjoyable aspects of life.

Actually, I haven't smoked in sometime. I'm ona self impossed break that I do every so often.

The thing i love about BC2000 stands is the double boom system.

It allows me to get my cymbals into a better position.

I dont actually buy drugs and i stay clear off Class A ones. I dont take enough to become addicted nor do i go out of my way to get any.

One of the worst there is. It's absolutely horrible for the user, and there's no way of knowing if it's a good or bad pill. The stuff kills brain cells off faster then anything known right now.

Never touch it myself. It's popularity is wanning here even. It's so bad, there are orginizations that setup at raves and events there E is prominent and will test your stuff for you to let you know if it's clean or not.

Ive heard of that happening before.

Like i said before, i aint touchin class A.
