i hope you have many stories of metal awesomeness and beer and chips for breakfast and hawt metal chicks with which to share with us.

so was it good? was it? really?
Metal was awesome, chips were pretty nice but the vegeburger van was better cos I met the singer of Shadows Fall in the queue.
Too poor for beer, the only beer I got was beer people dropped as they came in :D
hawt metal chicks = I'm not single

ALready seen Dream Theater, seeing Reuben in September. Killswitch would be good, but all the rest I could leave.

Jev 06-11-2007 09:06 AM

I only really saw Dimmu to get a decent spot for DT

Pastorius 06-11-2007 09:09 AM

They're uber cool man, can't get it anywhere else.

Dead Star 06-11-2007 09:36 AM

Jev 06-11-2007 09:55 AM

I wanted to see them get bottled.
I wasn't a fan of any of the 3 bands on at that time.

2muchket! 06-11-2007 09:59 AM

Were Lamb Of God and Chimaira good ?

2 of my fav metal bands and I'm seeing LoG in november

Jev 06-11-2007 10:12 AM
Were Lamb Of God and Chimaira good ?

Chimaira were pretty disappointing to be honest, they were much better back in 05.
And Lamb of God owned.

Pastorius 06-11-2007 10:22 AM

Awesome, think I just secured myself a job for the summer, might be able to quit shitty shitty ASDA finally.

If you go into the first section of the mall where there's the guitar shop, cinema and two-floored sports shop, go up the stairs and into the restaurant place where there's loads of pies and OJ. Go up to the railing next to the drinks fridge and jump over onto the canopy of a shop below, there's a katana that chops them in half :) It's ace, but it doesn't last too long =/

Later there's a sword shop with a ****ing claymore in it :D

Happy: lol cool. My band had a gig that friday, our promotion basically hinged around my opinion that we're better than MCR. An idea another local band ****ing nicked this idea not long after, with their "Better than Snow Patrol" bulletins

And tbh I'd rather see Infectious Grooves than ST myself, but that's likely to never happen :(

Frankie: The rest of my band saw LoG supported by Chimaira in sheffield on the saturday =[

I was with Zoe though ^-^

In other news, s'up guys =] I think I've found the neck blank for my guitar on ebay. Coming from america though, so postage is same again. But worth it in the long run, for what's potentially a hand-made custom neck for £60, especially if I go on to make more

ChodaBoy 06-11-2007 12:50 PM

Egh, the sun is ghey in the face. Cant it just be warm without having the sun blast down?

Patrick O))) 06-11-2007 12:52 PM

The sun's on the other side of the house from me. Which is a shame, this is right sitting-in-the-back-garden time, but the back's not getting any sun now :(

ChodaBoy 06-11-2007 01:04 PM

We were out at dinner and it was really sunny, but I dont tan. I just go red and burn, so im always looking for some shade to stand in

Dr Hooch 06-11-2007 01:10 PM

awwwesome

Patrick O))) 06-11-2007 01:11 PM

I struggle getting any kind of colour, the only way I can do it is burn a little, go inside, burn a little more, go back inside etc

Pastorius 06-11-2007 01:32 PM

I'm starting to get well excited for summer now.

I'm going camping for about a week, think I've got bar work for the summer, and my friend has a free house with a massive garden for 2 weeks!

Untitled 06-11-2007 02:08 PM

Ahhh

Today was fun, went to the park some place the other side of manchester, no idea where it is, my mate took us, it was fun though, it was a really nice park too, it had some meadows, and some flowery bits and lakes and stuff you would expect in a park. We sat and ate strawberry's and just sat, it was a laugh though, and we found a caterpillar haha.

2muchket! 06-11-2007 04:21 PM

Probably going to the park tommorrow. No more college till Monday. Better be a nice day tommorrow then.

Untitled 06-11-2007 04:41 PM

I hope it thunders so it will clear the air up. It probably will thunder within the next week or so.

2muchket! 06-11-2007 05:03 PM

Aye it should do. Either way we looks et for a decent summer. Shame I plan on working for some of it.

Untitled 06-11-2007 05:07 PM

Ive never been a fan of heat, i love days where there's perfect blue sky, but its warm, not hot, warm enough to get away with wearing shorts and tee-shirt, but not so ill be sweaty or sunburnt.

Or, in winter, i love those frosty days, clear blue sky, but absolutely freezing, and i get to put loads of layers on and my big coat and scarf and glove, hmmm.

Clunge 06-12-2007 02:53 AM

18th today .

Mexican Bandito 06-12-2007 04:06 AM

happy birthday Clunge :)
hope you have a good day.

I'm considering becoming a vegetarian...perhaps just over the summer to see if I can do it. I hardly eat any meat, it's mostly just chicken so it wouldn't be that hard =/

is anyone here a veggie?

jpshortstuff 06-12-2007 04:11 AM

lots of people in my family are veggies. i personally couldn't se how or why it could/would be done but thats just me.

Happy Birthday Clunge  :)

EDIT: when put next to the wavy smiley the happy smiley looks kind of ill :-/

Clunge 06-12-2007 04:33 AM

I could never ever EVER be a vegetarian.

I just love meat so much .

And cheers y'all, have a good day too. I'm going to start the intoxication process.
