Oh shi, you have it so hard down there. I hope a tsunami kicks your ***.
Jokes...

This cockblock thing is so new to me, I was thinking it was something PF was doing to himself... ya.

PinkFreud 02-18-2006 02:35 PM

everyone wants to hear allen's sad-*** story.

i suppose it wasnt a cockblock in the traditional sense. it was a cockblock in the sense that various factors under my control led to me not getting laid when the opportunity presented itself. let me present you with the setting.

last night, a few of my friends and i decided that it was way too cold to go out and party. this, coupled with our lack of funds for alcohol led to a possibly boring night. allen knows that this is not a possibility. so i buy a gram of middy pot from another friend on credit. the night is saved! or so i thought.

a different friend and i decide to match. we seperate it all and then realize that this kid has a freaking huge-*** ball of resin in his pipe. i say that we could smoke that to start and he agrees, assuming that the resin would only stand up to a few hits. we all know what happens when one assumes. this freaking resin ball lasts for 20 minutes. we're both totally blown on it. i decide that i need to watch the movie "waiting" as my friend had just acquired it. by this time, it's 2 am. don't ask me what we did until then because i can't remember.

i go back to my room with the movie and a package of ramen noodles. fun times ahead. but wait, my friend, let's call him cornelius, wants to watch it with me. he is the absolute WORST person to watch a comedy with. he has this piercingly loud, high pitched laugh that he always punctuates with a hand clap. i missed about half of the movie due to that. so i decided to watch it again. halfway through i get a call on my celly cell from this girl who totally has this thing for me and who i think is kind of cute.

this is where it gets interesting, or perhaps the better word is boring. she asks to come over and i say "sure." she arrives, we start smoking cigarettes. she talks about how her friend is having sex with the friend who sold me the pot. she also talks about how completely wasted she is. i feel awkward. not much talking. maybe the pot is clouding my brain. maybe i realize that i have morals that would prevent me from taking advantage of a drunk girl. whatever it is, it compels me to send her on her way. she asked if i had any water in my room and i responded "no, but you probably do in yours." good call, allen. she leaves, a little angry.

and that's the story. that's how you achieve a one-man cockblock. high fives all around!

i just hope this doesnt mess up our friendship.

Glitterati 02-18-2006 02:42 PM

Freud, that's why I don't smoke pot. I say and do enough stupid stuff as it is.
It's also tough going to parties when you have a girlfriend :(

Not that I don't love her but it always sucks to have to turn down potential sex from hot girls.
Ah, one of the advantages of the single life, your options are always open.

Someones not gay at all.

PinkFreud 02-18-2006 04:17 PM

let's not even go there. haha.

thickasabrick 02-18-2006 05:50 PM

Man getting baked period is a cockblock for me. I have no interest at all in sex and females and all that sorta stuff when I'm baked. Getting drunk is another story though...(that I won't get into)

Wow, he haven't actually discussed anything music related yet on this page. Do any of you listen to the Foo Fighters?

Glitterati 02-18-2006 06:02 PM

Stfu Plath.

I find that the Foo Fighters are just kinda....mediocre. I like a few songs, but I can't really get that much into them.

np: World's Best Girlfriend - Fifteen White (low)

PinkFreud 02-18-2006 06:06 PM

blech. i dont like the foo fighters. i think they're bland.

ATM 02-18-2006 06:12 PM

The first Foo Fighters album is nice.

Woodstock 02-18-2006 06:39 PM

I think they're pretty bland too. Their sound now, though, is worse than it's ever been. The Best of You song is unbelievably annoying.

Quick question, does anyone have any Chuck Berry?

BigTrav415 02-18-2006 07:03 PM
 Why'd you do it man? :p

So I'm never having people in my room again. Last night was the first time I had everybody drinking here, and it was fine until all the bitches I didn't know started showing up, then they were just trashing the place. There's a whole bunch of beer in my carpet now, and I had to stay up till 2 listening to everyone's drunkasses argue. The only thing that kept me sane was knowing the immense amount of beer cans I collected would bring in some serious cash, and then one of the kids I didn't know came in and took them this morning to by more beer. Needless to say I am seriously pissed off now.

/that's it
I don't even know if you remember this, but yeah, it sounded like you were hvaing a bad time last night on AIM. When you have to practically break your back to get to your own computer in yoyr own room, there are too many people :p

Of course my unsocial self trying to have a conversation with you probably didn't help matters.

Thursday and Friday were absolutely gorgeous days here. I actually took my dog on a walk around my neighborhood both days, and it was great. But today sucked weather-wise for here, that gray wet type of day with occasional very cold rain/sleet. It's supposed to be like that tomorrow as well, and Monday it might snow (rare for here). Wich would be awesome, becauseif we get basically any sticking snow we're at least a 2-hour delay, usually a full-day out of school.

Speaking of which I need to do two things this weekend, make corrections on my paper for my Spanish artist and make a brochure with his paintings and info, and write the rough draft of my World Cultures paper on a religion. I'm gonna make a drawing of one of Botero's paintings as well to help the rest look better.

/note to self

Today was still cool though. I went over to my friends, whoa re two twins in my grade, and we played XBox 360 and a crapload of computer games including World of Warcraft and Battlefield 2. We also tried to kill each other with samurai swords. Really.

over_bends 02-18-2006 07:12 PM

Foo Fighters are awesome. One of the best bands of the last 20 years, imo.

Jacaranda 02-18-2006 07:15 PM

Ewwww... Foo Fighters... one of the worst I think they might be worse then Nirvana, and thats a tough act to beat. Although I do like Grohl's work with QOTSA but thats just cause Josh Homme could work with anyone and make fantastic music.

I have some Chuck Berry Woodstock but the album has a large scratch in it if I remember correctly so I don't think you would want it.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-18-2006 07:30 PM

i absolutely hate QOTSA

so today i had to go to the hospital, i got bit by a dog my mom takaes care of at Animal Rescue, for once i wish i didnt like right next door to a place filled with dogs.

I love QOTSA. They are one of the greatest modern rock bands, imo.

They are. My friend just bought "Everywhere But Home" yesterday, and we watched it last night along with "Wedding Crashers". The FF dvd was OK, compared to when I saw them play in Detroit in October.

jpj 02-18-2006 08:19 PM

QOTSA owns the hell out of The Foo Fighters.

Anything Dave Grohl is involved with is awesome, except for that whole Nirvana thing.

temporary 02-18-2006 09:03 PM

Hey, not to be off topic, but can anyone upload me Radiohead's Kid A? My freind and I really want to hear it.

MidnightRider 02-18-2006 09:13 PM

Meh, I don't like The Foo Fighters all that much.

So I just bought 2112, It's my first Rush cd. Is it a good one to start with?

BigTrav415 02-18-2006 09:14 PM

I've heard 2112 is awesome, I haven't heard much Rush except a few radio songs. Peart is awesome though. His drumset goes in a full circle around him, that's how big it is.

Jacaranda 02-18-2006 09:18 PM

2112 is what got me hooked on Rush, its still my favorite out of all their albums the title track is probably the only song over 15 mins that I don't get bored of ever. I could send out 2112, if anyone (Trav?) wants and Kid A I could do also.

Yes plz. I'll take one of each :D

Against Miik! 02-18-2006 09:30 PM

I saw Rush live I think 2 summers ago. They can still rock.

MidnightRider 02-18-2006 09:33 PM

Do they still have their original line-up?

Well, I just got done listening to the title track and it was pretty badass. Geddy Lee is incredible.
