I wouldnt worry too much about pick pocketers. just keep your wallet in your front pocket and dont leave anything on the bar (if there is one).
Outro (Fight For Your Right (To Party) by Beastie Boys)

Holy shit
Yeah, and everyone started singing along with it, but like Shadows_Fallen said, it was just background music.

Anyway, about my show...Amon Amarth opened, and they were freaking awesome! The energy you heard in their music was incredible...it was the first time I'd ever seen a death metal band, and I loved it :D

Trivium came on next, and they weren't bad. The guy I went with loved them though, he'd never heard them before and he really got into it...and he caught the lead guitarist's pick at the end. CoB stole the show though, they made the atmosphere seem like a party, but they still played really well. They had beers on the amps in random places that the band would take at random times during the show. At one point, Alexi and Janne started doing a keyboard/guitar duel, and Alexi stopped and started feeding Janne booze while Janne kept soloing. Then Alexi started again, with the guitar neck between Janne's legs. Jaska did a kickass drum solo, and Roope casually walked on the stage smoking, and shredding so fast you couldn't see his hands move. CoB's set was identical to the one Shadows_Fallen posted, which was great, but I was very disappointed that they didn't play Kissing the Shadows or Hatebreeder.

I've heard pick pocketing is big biz at major concerts filled with lots of people tightly together?
I'd think that could happen.

Smart idea not to bring anything more than ID and cell phone, and have them in a pocket that zips up?
Aside from the fact that you could get ripped off, it's not a good idea to bring anything that could break. My show was really intense, you couldn't breathe, and I got my nose ring ripped out and a silver chain that I thought was strong torn off. Keep anything you're worried about in coat check.

Shadows 11-14-2005 09:47 PM

I loved it when Alexi was giving Janne beer during the solo.

My favorite part was during Bodom After Midnight when Alexi would change the words and say "Detroit After Midnight". It was very memorable.

He also said we kicked Canada's ass, and he wasn't bullshitting.

I didn't really like Trivium though. Heafy was desperate to get the crowd into pits and said if we didn't get in, we were scared. I wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up and just play.

Ths douche at Ozzfest tried to pretend she was hiding behind me and my friend at Ozzfest from someone else, when really she was checking our pockets for wallets. It does happen.

Yeah Bodom did they did the same thing but with "Chicago" instead of Detroit and yeah Trivium said the same thing about being scared in Chicago too. They're digging deep.

no, i don't have an idea. the concert in vienna is with "special guests", but nobody know who, and the other concerts in graz, linz are without support... well, there is no statement about a support.

Don't you love that? "Your a fucking pussy if you don't beat the shit out of each other instead of watching the show and enjoying it!"

There was a LOOOOTTTT of people saying that to the crowd at SOTU...Devin Townshend was like "I don't want you beating each other up, I just want everyone to hug!"

"The support acts for Children of Bodom's upcoming European tour have been confirmed. They are the bands Ektomorf (HUN) and One Man Army And The Undead Quartet (SWE), the band of ex-The Crown vocalist Johan Linstrand."

Huber 11-15-2005 04:35 PM

I finally got Are You Dead Yet? today. Wow. I really underrated that album. Every song is incredible, and the Ramones cover is humorous.

blue3 11-16-2005 02:53 AM

I still haven't seen that CD at any store. Which Ramones song is it?

Apocalyptic Raids 11-16-2005 03:05 AM

blue3 11-16-2005 03:08 AM
