great poem crap

Radiobass81 09-14-2004 07:55 PM
my firned just had me write a poem about feeto to someone who hates feet enjoy my ode to feet
Well I was sitting outside
The podiatrists office
And it hit me
I love feet
They can tap a beat
Something to eat

Smells like shoe
Some times like mayonnaise
May I please
Sniff your feet

Toe nail in-grown
This bird has flown
Birds have scaly feet
So do some people

Sometimes it seems
I dip my feet into sour cream
And then I scream
Because feet are amazing

Once upon a time
I wrote a rhyme
For a girl who hates the foot
To hate the foot is to be hard put
I hope you get hit with a shot put.
A bit hard to understand
But I dislike feet
So rather than
It's good, but no wheat (????)

Foxfire 09-14-2004 07:57 PM

Interesting, I'm writing a paper on how Bass has changed my life.

I make several (NO) references to MX.

 :upset:

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 07:58 PM
LDTG: What was the play about?

You guys type way too fast...
The one was a celebrity golf tourney (just had to run in like a freak)

Other one was a AA meeting we all sang a song at the end (AA meeting with Richard Simmons, Nelly Furtardo(sp?), Mark Hamill, Mr. Bean, and don't remember the other person)

e p 09-14-2004 07:58 PM

You should say "internet site" to make it more secretive yet still represent us.

FoxFire: Won't you mention me and how I helped you decide on your next amp?

:upset:

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:02 PM

Actually this is a small paper the teacher made me throw together (I wrote a poem about bass earlier today too; it sucks ass  ). She's making me write a 45~ page thesis this year as well, and I'm thinking of doing something bass related. In which case I will be forced to make multiple references and interview people for it.

nisakss 09-14-2004 08:02 PM

Glad to see you are all doing well...see ya tomorrow.

FREAKofNATURE 09-14-2004 08:03 PM

45 pages????? holy crap, i dont think ive written that much in one year of school.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:03 PM

I don't think I am very helpful :upset:

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:04 PM

OMFG 45 pages that is nuts I have trouble with 1 page

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:05 PM

Yeah, last year when I was in 7th grade it was 25-30 pages. I compared PCs to Macs.

Left Shoe 09-14-2004 08:06 PM

i wanna be quoted in your paper , you best quote the mxers =P

FREAKofNATURE 09-14-2004 08:07 PM

you are in 8th grade and you have to write a 45 page essay on something?? do you go to a school for the super smart and who love to write extremely large essay's??

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:07 PM

Oh, I will! But I'll need your names (first name, even) when I do it. This is assuming, of course, it can be simple research and not necessarily comparison.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:07 PM

your only in grade 8 Fox

Left Shoe 09-14-2004 08:11 PM

e p 09-14-2004 08:14 PM

You really should quote us though. But just put "experts on the field" for our description.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:14 PM

ya his age doesn't matter but he seem a lot more mature then an average grade 8 :thumb:

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:14 PM

FREAK: I'm in a supposed "gifted program"; the curriculum is a tad harder than usual (basically I'm taking all honor classes).

LDTG: Thanks. :thumb:

Left Shoe 09-14-2004 08:15 PM

what is the average age of someone in grade 8 , im in america and our sysmte isnt exactly like that

e p 09-14-2004 08:15 PM
what is the average age of someone in grade 8 , im in america and our sysmte isnt exactly like that
Hes in America too.

:amaze:

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:15 PM

I'm curious as to that too.

As far as I know, here in the U.S., 13-14 is average, yes?

Left Shoe 09-14-2004 08:16 PM

well in americawe have pre school and kindergarten before we do grade 1, im not sure if they have that over therre

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:16 PM

e p 09-14-2004 08:17 PM
well in americawe have pre school and kindergarten before we do grade 1, im not sure if they have that over therre
Once again, hes in America.

And 8th grade age is 13-14 unless you've been held back.

I am 100 percent sure.

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:17 PM

e p it's not really 'honors' but it's a system similar to that in a high school.

For example, at the moment I'm taking Geometry (did Algebra 1/2 and Trig already), Latin II, English II-III, some grammar school Literature, and Biology (I'm done with Environmental, thank God). I'm sure I'm missing some others, but yeah. Others kids in my class may end up takign something more or less advanced in terms of Math mostly.

That's insane.

gaslight 09-14-2004 08:20 PM

At the moment my subjects are;

Advanced English
Extension English - Postmodernism
Visual Arts
Music
Religous Studies (Extended)
Modern History

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-14-2004 08:21 PM

ya when I was in grade 8 we had just the basic stuff like Math, Science, English etc.

we didn't have like different maths or anything

Foxfire 09-14-2004 08:23 PM

For people wondering:

No I don't go to a private school. This is a public school with an experimental program in it (so there are two or three classes parallel to us in the same grade, but using the regular curriculum).

Ironically, the governor just cut our funding. It's so horrible, last year my Latin book was missing the first 10 or so pages, and at the end of the year, my Vocabulary book was missing all the chapters except the last. The binding on the Biology books are messed up, and the old math books have drawings all over them. The english books are in okay condition, but it's still not good. :p

e p 09-14-2004 08:26 PM

Ok. That helps.

I used to wonder what the point was of having a mini-Pit within the bass forum, but then I realized the awesome potential of a casual thread with images enabled.

Here is a little gif from Something Awful about Mr. Belvedere. It is awesome:
