Kirk's Muppet 01-09-2006 01:02 AM

Am I the only one that doesn't really like Under A Glass Moon much?

I'm doing my daily dosage of SfaM. Strange Deja Vu's Myung-riff kicking my *** at the moment.

Kirk's Muppet 01-09-2006 01:03 AM
They played a live gig with Napalm Death's singer and they played "Damage Inc."

That should count for something, I guess.
Myung laughing his *** off must be the best moment in the DVD.

Bryan Blakey 01-09-2006 01:24 AM

So I've watched the Mike Portnoy video with Dream Theater on Drummerworld numerous times because he is an amazing drummer and I love the song that they are playing, but I never knew what it was called. I was listening to "Instrumedley" and, no joke, thinking to myself that I wish I had known which song that was on the video so I could have bought the album with it on there... and all of a sudden it's the last 1:30 of Instrumedley and it's like... F*CK YEAH.

right-o. carry on.

It is my least favourite song from I&W (which is my favourite album).

Erotmania is very fun to play :thumb: exept the last part of the last solo because it is so fast

scenesfromatheater 01-09-2006 10:58 AM

JP always makes songs that are possible to play into impossilbe ones by adding some uber-fast shredding or sweeps in to spite us. :upset:

123, I hate squier strats.

I want them to come back to England already (even though they were here 3 months ago)

nowitzki 01-10-2006 03:13 AM

If you want to hear Myung talk, the double DVD is your only option. He can't say more than a total of 10 words on the other 2.

Lionheart1827 01-10-2006 04:45 AM

Have you heard the bootleg of when they actually sang that in the chorus? It's super-de-duper.

Jev 01-10-2006 11:42 AM

Don't they do it at every show now?
They did with As I Am when I saw them.

I don't think they do it every show. At least not on Live at Budokon. Unless I missed it every single time I watch it.

Lord Abortion 01-10-2006 12:39 PM

I think he means on the Octavarium tour.
And obviously, when they play it, as the set is changed every night...

Oh. That would explain why I didn't hear it on Budokon.

I'd be like a fanatic Kid with that and I+W bedsheets. I remember I used to have Thunderbirds bedsheets too... I didn't find the "Eat my ass and balls"
funny in As I Am. But I don't know why.
I think the Finally Free bit is hilarious "You go through many emotions right there.. Serious, too serious, happy, serious"
