So i've been thinking, I either pay $120 to a see bunch of burned out, brain-dead sammy hagar song playing hacks (Van Halen) or buy some cds.

I saw Van Halen but it wasn't worth that much. And i had decent seats.

my dad saw them this year, and he said they were awesome. they played songs from the roth and hagar days. he also said there wasn't any "van hagar", which im assuming means they didnt play any of hagar's solo songs

No Sammy did one of his own songs while the other band members were taking a break.

I was talking to my Dad for awhile about classic rock. He was born in 1952, pretty much perfect timing to catch just about everything. He brags about it to me. I wish I was that lucky.
