i thinkthe Vio-lence dvd is planned for early next year, and the Eternal Nightmare re-release at the same time as the dvd
Theres going to be a re issue on CD of Eternal Nightmare!? :)
if there is any idea at all when its out apart from next year?

RCA 11-29-2004 05:01 PM

Does anyone here own any Razor albums? I've downloaded two albums by them and they fvcking own, but I can't seem to find an actual album to buy.

Also, anyone who has Violator's "Violent Mosh" EP, please tell me how it is.

LordDargon 11-30-2004 07:15 AM

I downloaded Violent Restitution off of some guy who has the vinyl of it. It does indeed ****ing own. And they're Canadian :D

RCA 11-30-2004 03:51 PM

Another Canadian band that owns your soul. :chug:

I got the Violator EP, and it kicks serious ***. They're a newer band from Brazil, and they're stuff sounds like Bay Area thrash only heavier and more violent. I'm glad I found out about these guys. If you want, you Soulseek users can d/l the EP from me.

SLATANIC-666 11-30-2004 04:00 PM

Well I ordered Mad Butcher/Infernal Overkill, but it's gonna take about 2 weeks to deliver :upset:. It will be just in time for playing over Xmas but I wish I could buy them seperately but I searched high and low so I settled for a double pack, As good as two albums for the price of one, I'm not complaining.

SLATANIC-666 11-30-2004 04:08 PM

On a seperate note Persecution Mania came in the post this morning, I haven't listened to it all yet but Godd@mn I love it. They remind me of Sepultura in a way, in vocals more than the music but rest assured that this will not be the last Sodom album I buy.
Also extreme aggression should arrive tommorow, I cannot wait.

RCA 11-30-2004 05:04 PM

^Get Agent Orange next, definately.

OK, thanks. I'll look out for it, in fact i think I saw it on amazon which is where i got PM from.

Wow, I got it now, that is ridiculously kick ***. I think I'll review it.

metal-militia 12-01-2004 12:07 PM

I downloaded a few songs off Razors site http://come.to/the.razor.pages for those that are interested :thumb:

Is anything else by Vio-lence woth getting? I saw Opressing The Masses/Torture Tactics for about £10 and was wondering wether to get it.

LordDargon 12-01-2004 12:15 PM

Well, Oppressing the Masses has World in a World on it, one of my favorite songs, so GET IT!

EDIT: Good work on finding that Razor site, it has both Edge of the Razor and The Marshall Arts on it, probably the two best songs! Everyone check them out!

EDIT2:
Rejoice, for now you too can hear VIOLATOR.

It seems to load extremely slow though... it might be me, or it might be a crummy brazilian server.

The new video wasn't liked by my computer very much XD

It just seemed to lock up after sometime and I totally was like "wtf?"

I'll check it again tommorrow and see if it was just this one time...

DownHillBassist704 12-02-2004 12:17 AM

anyone like Chimaira

DownHillBassist704 12-02-2004 12:19 AM

or The Black Dahlia Murder

Apocalyptic Raids 12-02-2004 03:21 AM

Ick. Sounds too power-metallish

LordDargon 12-02-2004 06:21 AM

No.

I can't watch it though, you need RealAudio or RealMedia or whatever. Isn't anyone going to listen to that Violator?

Wow, like someone already said it keeps locking up but I kept trying and it paid off. It's a fvcking awesome song though and the video really does it justice.
Since we're on the subject of Kreator, Extreme Aggression came in the post today :D. Instantly I loved it, it sounds different to their previous 3 albums, the vocals are better IMO and the songs sound better structured.
I think the next album I get of theirs will be Coma of Souls then of course I'll wait until Enemy of God is released, goddamn I can't wait.

RCA 12-02-2004 09:15 PM

**** it, listen to Dargon and me and check out Violator!

Please.

RavenousMetalist87 12-03-2004 09:44 AM

I feel the pain of extremely slow *** loading...mine is doing the same thing and it's annoying as ****! XD

Looks like this international server could use a few tweaks and fixes to make it better.

Thanks for the link though, Dargon \m/

metal-militia 12-04-2004 12:18 PM

that link was slow for me too, it told me the estimated finish time was over an hour and it was going really slow.

Going back to Razor, has anyone ever seen any of thier CDs in shops or online? (not Ebay or auction stuff though)

I've seen Decibels (only one copy though XD) at my local Tower, but other than that, I can't find anything else from them unless I went to Virgin Megastore in Burbank or Glendale Galleria's FYE.

I'm planning to go after Christmas to see what's left because right now, especially during Christmas time, it'll be packed with people x_x

I've been listening to The Legacy a lot lately...I just love the songs on it

Corporal Compendia 12-04-2004 02:44 PM

Living in or near Toronto, Razor albums should be easy to find... so yes... I've seen them in stores, and for pretty cheap too.

metal-militia 12-04-2004 02:53 PM

well i'm in England so i'm not as lucky. In my Virgin Megastore it didn't have any of thier albums, but i checked online and they have some.

The Legacy > New Order :)
