I worked with a guy who didn't eat for 40 days. But I guess it was to reset his metabolism. I never understood how that would work. I would think after 40 days without food, your body would hold onto every last bit of everything you put in it.

He was on water and vitamins, basically. He got really grumpy around the week-10 days mark, then after that he got used to it I guess.

Eh, I'm not that hardcore.

I eat like...every 2~3 hours, so a waffle, a miso/rice-bowl full of cereal [really small bowls, btw], and a fairly small [I would say "normal-sized," but that size of bowl for my family is much smaller than other families], not-filled-to-the-top bowl of rizoto and shrimp...well...big difference for me =(

But yeah, not eating screws up your metabolism...did it work?
