I can play pretty fast with two finegrs, three finger I can only get the galloping triplets for some reason (i.e. Iron Maiden)

I don't use picks. Ever. On a bass at least.

I play with fingers, by the way. I prefer the warmer tone, the speed, dexterity, and I hate the feeling of a clunky pick in my fingers. No risk of dropping anything if I use my fingers. :D
