Ive noticed something. I just bought a 100watt amp. This thing is loud , wich has gotten me to think.... how loud must a 1000 or even a 2000watt amp be?

Just like you enjoy not having your hand stuck in one spot, I enjoy having somewhere to be anchored. It helps me dig in a bit more, and it makes sure that my hand is steady, as my hands shake all of the time.

Wattage is a measure of power, not volume. Volume is the amount of air an amp moves. The more air moved, the louder the amp is.

But usually those amps would be pretty **** loud. :p

oh ok. So saying that I bought a 900 watt subwofer for my car would mean that it has 900 watts of power, and that the more air in my trunk means more loudness?

Not necessarily. If you have 1,000 watts running to one 10" speaker, it's not going to be loud. If you run 1,000 watts to 4x10, you're moving a lot more air, so it's louder.

oh i get it ! My subwoffer in my car is 900 wtas to 2 12" speakers. Muy bass amp is 100watts into 4 8" speakers.

you know , thats a good question. The thing is ripped off. i bought it on the street ( my guess is that it was stolen ) I think its a fender, or a SWR. all i know is that there 4 speakers and it says 100 watts on the back , so i measured the speakers.

A few months ago, the guy that owns/runs the site decided he would, for the first time, hire someone to help with writing articles on the site, so he decided to hold a little competition on the site.
Out of 80 people that applied, which is a very tiny number considering the amount of people that are on the site, he looked over resumes and chose 8 people to each write an article. My brother was one of the 8 people.
From there it was narrowed down to 3 people, but it was not announced who the 3 people were.
Next day, he announces 2 winners, one is my brother. He got a job writing for this site, which is viewed by tons of people worldwide on a daily basis.
This site is ranked number 850 most popular on the internet out of however many million sites there are. This could potentially lead to something much bigger in the future because of how many people see it.

Bought some Rotosound Swing Bass 66's today, and I really like them. I haven't had much time to try them outh, but so far, so good. I don't know if I like them more than Elixirs, but I'll find out tomorrow.

apon closer inspection ive come to the conclusion that is indeed an ampeg.. not sure on the model i e-mail the serial number to ampeg and im hoping for a replie with teh model.
