:chug:
Mine is tonight. :) I was going to write a review of it too.

Shattered_Future 11-12-2005 12:27 PM

Mine is nonexistant. :)

Either way, you people better be videotaping it.

lamb_of_goddrummer 11-12-2005 12:32 PM

I haven't heard too much bodom songs yet, but my favorite so far is sixpounder, brutal the whole way through, but not boring-good.

Is that legal?
Is that legal?
no?.....

blue3 11-12-2005 06:50 PM

Take pictures or something.

MRDuCran 11-12-2005 07:01 PM

I was thinking about taking on of those disposable cameras to my gig, I have a proper one or a digital one, or a camera phone so it's really the only way unless I buy one of the above which I'm not going to do.

pandemic787 11-12-2005 07:27 PM

i saw a commercial for these guys on tv, how long have they been around? they look young.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 11-12-2005 08:47 PM
i saw a commercial for these guys on tv, how long have they been around? they look young.
If your talking about COB theyve been around sice the late 90's and there int here late 20's to early 30's i think  i know Alexi Laiho is like 26 or 27 hes the lead singer by the way if u didnt know :p

blue3 11-12-2005 08:54 PM
I was thinking about taking on of those disposable cameras to my gig, I have a proper one or a digital one, or a camera phone so it's really the only way unless I buy one of the above which I'm not going to do.
Bring all those. Last time I went to a concert, I brought an MP3 player, which recorded, a disposable camera and a cell phone which did both.

I'm Charming 11-12-2005 11:44 PM

Don't they take cameras at the door though?

Cuz your not allowed to take pix or video the show?

blue3 11-12-2005 11:48 PM

Depends, I guess. They didn't search me at most concerts I went to. For the Audioslave concert, they checked my pockets, but that;s it.

Shadows 11-13-2005 01:29 AM

WWWWOOOOOOHHHHHHH, JUST GOT BACK FROM SEEING COB AND IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no idea the show would be that good.

Apocalyptic Raids 11-13-2005 01:38 AM

Setlist?

If you got Lake Bodom I will be eternally jealous. I got Deadnight Warrior instead. The show the next night got Lake Bodom though :(

Shadows 11-13-2005 01:40 AM

They didn't play anything off of Something Wild.

Hang on, let me see if I can find a setlist. If not, I'll see if I can remember it. That will be a challenge, because this was the longest show I've ever been to. CoB's set was insanely long.

w00t, found the setlist, but I edited it. Instead of those two Something Wild songs you mentioned, I got Silent Night, Bodom Night. I'm not complaining.

Living Dead Beat
Sixpounder
Silent Night, Bodom Night
Hate Me!
In Your Face
Angels Don't Kill
Drum Solo
Bodom After Midnight/Bodom Beach Terror mix
Follow The Reaper
Needled 24/7
Guitar/Keyboard Solo (Alexi vs. Janne)
We're Not Gonna Fall
Hate Crew Deathroll
Are You Dead Yet?

-Encore-
Guitar Solo (Roope)
Chokehold (Cocked 'n' Loaded)
Downfall
Everytime I Die

blue3 11-13-2005 02:38 AM

Awesome list.

.:Thrasher:. 11-13-2005 02:39 AM

i just heard hatebreader and thet is the madest song i have heard in a while (it was my first time listening to them and dont really like the vocals but the guitar was excellent 8/10

Apocalyptic Raids 11-13-2005 04:26 AM

Sounds great SF. Shame about there being nothing off Something Wild though.
Sounds great SF. Shame about there being nothing off Something Wild though.
what do you mean??

Apocalyptic Raids 11-13-2005 06:28 AM

I mean it's a shame they didn't play any songs off Something Wild.

Toaster 11-13-2005 08:02 AM

How was Roope's solo? Compared to Alexi, I mean.

repcak 11-13-2005 08:08 AM

the setlist was awesome... can't wait for my concert (6th january)! :D

i plan to take my mp3 player with me, to record the whole show and i will make some photos with my digicam and will public them on my homepage. will do the same on opeth concert (17.12.) and maybe on Dark Tranquillity concert (20.12.) - but DT is not sure :(

but if i will be able to record the concert i will upload it for you :thumb:

Ill nvr get to see them live :upset: its soo sad

Shadows 11-13-2005 11:57 AM
I mean it's a shame they didn't play any songs off Something Wild.
Yes. Yes it is. Alongside Follow the Reaper, Something Wild is my favorite.
How was Roope's solo? Compared to Alexi, I mean.
Not bad. Alexi's was a long battlte abck and forth between him and Janne and it was pretty hard to beat. Roope's seemed more like a filler so the band had time to get back on stage. It wasn't bad at all, but Alexi's was better.

dest. Chaos 11-13-2005 12:05 PM
Ill nvr get to see them live :upset: its soo sad
why not?

Shadows 11-13-2005 12:06 PM

Try to. They're fucking amazing live. Whoever said that Alexi was sloppy at live shows must've been thinking of a different band.

On a completely unrelated note, this is funny.

Toaster 11-13-2005 12:18 PM

Yeah, I've heard Hatebreeder live, and his playing is actually better than on the record.

Shadows 11-13-2005 01:03 PM

 My show was posted on Scythes of Bodom!

http://www.endlesswar.net/SOB/site.php?lang=en

Pics and a setlist.

AA-12 11-13-2005 01:36 PM

Outro (Fight For Your Right (To Party) by Beastie Boys)

Holy shit

Shadows 11-13-2005 01:38 PM

They didn't actually play it. It was just background music played on the venue's sound system as the band left.

AA-12 11-13-2005 01:39 PM

Oh, haha. It would be great to hear them cover it.

Shadows 11-13-2005 01:49 PM

There were no covers played last night by any band. :( I was waiting for something funny, like when I saw Cephalic Carnage cover the King of the Hill theme song.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 11-13-2005 04:15 PM
why not?
Eh i dont have the money, there not playing near here this yr., and i have no way to a concert if they was and i could get tickets lol like i said very sad

Cobshred666 11-13-2005 06:52 PM
Yeah, I've heard Hatebreeder live, and his playing is actually better than on the record.
AHH i really want to hear Hatebreeder live is it on Tokyo Warhearts?

blue3 11-13-2005 06:54 PM

So, they didn't play Twist And Shout?
the setlist was awesome... can't wait for my concert (6th january)! :D

but if i will be able to record the concert i will upload it for you :thumb:
It might sound like crap. I tried recording at Audioslave and all you could hear was buzzing. It sounded fine when it was acoustic songs, but I doubt Bodom will play anything acoustic..

Shadows 11-13-2005 06:58 PM
So, they didn't play Twist And Shout?
No. It was just background music provided by the venue.

There's a good chance you won't even be able to get in with it. When I went last night, we had to go through metal detectors, and I doubt the security guys will take too kindly to any type of recording device.

blue3 11-13-2005 07:02 PM

So you can't even bring cell phones?

It depends on the venue I guess.

Shadows 11-13-2005 07:07 PM

Cell phones were allowed. They were obviously looking for any kind of weapons, but if they see cameras and recording things they might not like it.

I'm Charming 11-14-2005 01:11 AM

This may sound stupid....

I've heard pick pocketing is big biz at major concerts filled with lots of people tightly together?
I'd think that could happen.

Smart idea not to bring anything more than ID and cell phone, and have them in a pocket that zips up?
