DREDG!?!?!?! Go you fool!

That sounds like the coolest club ever.

Also, Dinosaur Jr. is pretty good.

Dredg for 12 bucks  It's on Wednesday, and my sister said she would go with me.

I saw Kasabian, Mad Action, and the Rock and Roll Soldiers there on Thursday. Then I saw Porcupine Tree there on Friday.

None of my friends are into rap. It's going to be tough to find somebody to go with.

Dancin' Man 05-15-2005 03:03 PM

Where is this club? You're one of the Maryland people here, right?

Illmatic 05-15-2005 03:03 PM

What's wrong with just going alone?

ATM 05-15-2005 03:08 PM
Where is this club? You're one of the Maryland people here, right?
The club is in DC. It's about 30 minutes from my house.

To Ray: I guess I could go alone, but I've never done that before. Then again, my girlfriend likes Wu Tang, so I'll see if she wants to go.

Illmatic 05-15-2005 03:29 PM

Haha.

So I was on the phone with my girlfriend (for the past 20-25 minutes) and we were just talking in general about random things. (also, for some reason after a fight, a couple is always more lovey-dovey...don't know why)

So I saw something about guitars, and it reminded me.
Me: "Are women attracted to guys who play guitar?"
Her: "I dunno...it makes ME hot when you play guitar"
Me: "Yeah, but why?"
Her: "Why are guys so turned on by thongs?"
Me: "I...don't know. It's just hot."
Her: "Exactly."

Well, now we kind of have an answer.

I love that conversation. I think I'll save it.

That song is so fun to play.

Yea, it is a lot more liberal. I remember the first night that I moved there, we were in the hotel and just flipping through channels on the TV. All of a sudden, we see hardcore **** on one of the basic channels, and I'm sitting in a room with my whole family.

ChodaBoy uploaded it for me earlier... it kind of cuts out in the end, but it's extremely goofy and definitely superhero in style. Med has heard it and we both laughed at how awful it was.

[16:31] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: this music is unfeasibly corny by the way

[16:31] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: Oh, I know, that's why it's hysterical

[16:31] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: it's like power metal

[16:31] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: the character the guy plays is goofy as hell

[16:31] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: with added cheese

[16:32] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: like, he's this superhero as the gimmick... and his partner is his SuperHero In Training (guess the acronym).

[16:32] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: yeah, it's unbelievably corny, but that's why it's awesome, it fits the character extremely well

[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: omg
[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: that acronym
[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: heh, that's amazing
[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: who comes up with this stuff?

[16:33] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: the writers, I guess
[16:33] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: although the athletes have some say

[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: you can just picture the meetings though
[16:33] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: working out the little details like that
[16:34] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: telling some 300 pound guy
[16:34] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: you're going to be known as "S.H.I.T"
[16:34] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: well done.

[16:39] {Med57} I love you, Jesus Christ: the hulk? singing?
[16:39] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: playing bass, too
[16:39] Antihero /// Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through!: no, not singing

A) Times = all Dylan material. Freewheelin' had lots of cover material
B) Dylan has yet to match his lyrical prowess prior to Times and from Times onwards: he has never matched the overall lyrical narrative quality he peaked with on this album
C) His voice is better (marginally) on this album
D) God on our side
E) Title track
F) Only A Pawn In Their Game
G) Boots Of Spanish Leather
H) Ballad Of Hollis Brown
I) The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll
J) Stfu :smash:

I amde dinner tonight. Tillapia, water chesnuts, read and yellow peppers, Spanish onions, lime juice + zest, dried cayenne pepper, pineapple and passionfruit nectar and coconut milk on rice garnished with baby spinach leaves and sliced star fruit. It was good.

I have had a bit much to drink. I am very horny and need that lovely lady right now. I am in an oral sex mood to be followed up by thew real thing. I can't beleive I didn't spend the night with her last night like I could've. Why did I bother to go pick up my brother? There was even alcohol last night! and a nice warm bed and I had a box of ribbed condoms in my pockety. Oh well, I'll see her on Wednesday then skip dance class with her on thursday and get it on. Maybe I'll even dig up a Marvin Gaye tape. WQeeeeeeeha. I think I'll go driunk more. The wine is good.

Or her pleasure. I used extra lube at first because she had only had sex twice before me an apparently he had a small *****. Our mutrual best friend pulled me aside and gave me a talk about how I needed to use ones that would be a little smoother after the first time we had sex. now she's been worked past that. ****, I want some of that. I want one of those white trash t shirts that says "Little Poontang Please?"

Anyone here listen to Coldplay? They have a new single out, and I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about a new album. They are due for a new album anytime now, although they seem to like taking big breaks in between their albums. Their official site doesn't give much good information.

You've never been so wrong in your life. Coldplay are musical geniuses and are bringing soul and musical integrity back into mainstream music.

I actually used to think they sucked too, I had only heard their singles on the radio/TV, then someone lent me one of their albums. I listen to it just about daily now.

I listened to "A Rush of Blood to the Head".

It sucked.

I hate Coldplay.

I hate their bland, radio-friendly alt-rock tunes, I especially hate their donkey-faced "sensitive man with a piano" frontman.

They're no different than insipid, safe bands like Travis or Snow Patrol.

Coldplay is a band that capitalizes on using the same four chords to create a falsified, highly romanticized atmosphere of "love".

For fuck's sake, their biggest artistic achievement is a music video that is played in reverse.

I've only heard that Clocks song and everytime I hear it it reminds me of my trip to South Padre Island. We drove down from MN, about 26 hours, and proabaly heard it on the radio about 50 times.

I was planning on starting a PT cover today, but no one has a GP4 tab for Wedding Nails for making a backing track, so I'm gonna wait. Way too lazy to make my own drums and bass for a song like that. So I decided to relax and play a For Whom The Bell Tolls cover. I have it about half done, should be able to finish this morning. Easy song, but I always enjoy playing those being as you saw how much of a guitar virtuoso I am...
