Lame, you should stay for Madball. Madball>99.4% of hardcore bands.
I'm not a big Madball fan, besides it's the only way I was able to convince my mom to let me go.

I think DT's last show is sometime this month.

shane italian 01-31-2005 08:26 PM

Sucks for all the people that traveled for the "last show".

NewKindofArmy03 01-31-2005 08:27 PM

Haha, yeah. Then all of a sudden they announce 4 more shows.

BuddyBigsby 01-31-2005 08:28 PM

Well I did think it was lame how their 'last show' was opening for someone else.

bassistthatrocksout 01-31-2005 08:33 PM

i have a ? for the first poster dude. whatever. would metallica fall into any of these groups or would they just be hardrock?

I think you'd put Metallica under "suck." Now go have puberty, and come back when you're done with all that.

CONNER_NWHC 01-31-2005 09:37 PM

Anyone have the full leaked wake the dead yet?

A-Life-Less-Plagued 01-31-2005 09:38 PM

I have it with really ****ty quality mp3s.

EDIT: Never mind, it's not the whole album, just those 9 tracks.

I'm going to buy CBK when it comes out, or until there's a pre order deal thru victory. I just bought the Death Before Dishonor pre-order tonight. It's $8 and includes a free poster. That's a **** good deal for a cd you are going to be receiving several weeks early.

shane italian 01-31-2005 10:18 PM

Where is the Since The Flood show going to be at?

CONNER_NWHC 01-31-2005 10:20 PM

F'uck off shane and buddy to many good shows down there.
Order it through Bridge 9? Hahahahahahaha, think again.
All of the kids on the B9er who pre-ordered got it pretty quickly. I have faith because I have never had issues buying things online. Either way, $8 is a lot less than I would pay if I were to buy it in stores.

CONNER_NWHC 01-31-2005 10:25 PM

obese_breasts 01-31-2005 10:47 PM

God I wish the Bane, CBK, With Honor tour came closer to me.

CONNER_NWHC 01-31-2005 10:50 PM

How far away is it? Driving wise.

obese_breasts 01-31-2005 10:51 PM

2.5 hours, and I can't drive/wouldn't have a ride

40 oz 2 freedom 01-31-2005 10:52 PM

Dude, Reiner, missing Madball? Bad call.

Shane, buying ...Has A Gambling Problem, good call.

stateofalert 01-31-2005 11:01 PM

no way

"Emo bands:
Rites of Spring, Embrace, Gray Matter, Ignition, Dag Nasty, Monsula, Fugazi kind of, Fuel, Samiam, Jawbreaker, Hot Water Music, Elliot, Friction, Soulside, early Lifetime, Split Lip/Chamberlain, Kerosene 454"

okay, Rites of Spring...maybe. But I remember, and I qoute Ian Mackaye replying to some stupid *** zine author labeling Embrace as "emo-core" with "that is the stupidest ****ing thing I have ever heard."

Thus that is just stupid. And should be fixed. Sorry but that just sort of pisses me off "education" psh.

obese_breasts 01-31-2005 11:05 PM

what would you call Embrace then? I would say there are Emocore/Post-Hardcore

BuddyBigsby 01-31-2005 11:06 PM

Except that you have no idea what you're talking about, you're blindly quoting your hero.

stateofalert 01-31-2005 11:08 PM
what would you call Embrace then? I would say there are Emocore/Post-Hardcore
not sure honestly. just another one of Mackaye's long list of bands. pretty good one too.
