Does anyone like Inked In Blood
And.... The Number 12 is awesome, but they are grind. The Acacia Strain does suck as does TTEOTD. All Shall Perish is "deathcore", but they are good, unlike almost every other band alligned with the "genre".
completely agree with ASP being about the only good "deathcore" band. Number 12 being "awesome" is a little generous, but hey, whatever tickles the pickle. |
ASP is most certainly not the only good deathcore band out there.
Beneath the Sky is fucking amazing, and we all know how much Job for a Cowboy and The Red Chord own you all. |
What the hell is so great about Red Chord? I just cant get into them, Im the same way with Converge...but I wont go there.
Invicta, I listened to your 12 track "ep", and I liked it. I could totally solo over that shit |
Um, it's only 8 tracks....
|
Good call, I was looking at something else.
|
Haha, did you listen to the right one?
|
yeah I did. the pedal sound gives it away lol. but its good stuff man.
maybe when my band finds a ****ing GOOD drummer (Im tired of teaching people how to play drums) we can record something too. |

Clients could be considered deathcore I guess because it's the most inherently metalcore but I like to pretend that album doesn't exist anyways.
|
The Red Chord is deathcore though. None of those other bands mentioned are.
Best deathcore = either In Death We Rise or Burning The Masses. |
What do you guys think of Oh, Sleeper. I just found their record today and am checking it out. I haven't really formed an opinion as of yet.
They are badass, and super cool dudes. We played with them tonight actually =] |
They are decent, nothing too good about them.
For Deathcore, I don't think I hear the band Glass Casket in the bunch mentioned. Its BTBAM drummers side project thats on hold I believe, its pretty sick. |
It's not his sideproject you knob, Glass Casket were just a band from the same scene that happened to be buds with BTBAM. To appease BTBAMs revolving door line-up, their guitarist and drummer joined, since the rest of Glass Casket are currently finishing school or something like that.
|
Yeah I thought the drummer from GC went to BTBAM...Coke's probably right, as always
j/k man |
last time I saw BTBAM the drummer spent 90% of their set staring at his arms. He kept looking over at his arms and being like, "mmm", it was really creepy.
Glass Casket is also really hilarious looking, they look like a bunch of bros. |
*mmm yeah, yeah, thats hot*
and bros as in they look alike or in the gangster sense? I dont think I've seen pics of them. |

HBP: Beneath the Sky is most certainly deathcore. What Demons do to Saints fits the genre to a T. There's absolutely no argument.
Glass Casket is not deathcore by any means. Nor are they a "side project". |
Too bad they aren't "deathcore".
Yeah they are. Just because they aren't a bunch of white belt kids doesn't mean they don't incorporate hardcore/metalcore in their music. Then again, I'm getting really sick of genre arguments so I don't really care. And yeah, I liked Clients again for like the past month, but I agree with Coke again now, it's pretty boring. |

the guy on the right is my favourite
I'm a fan of the singer tbh. I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'M SORRY! |

I say as fans of metalcore we should all include architects - ruin in the nomination for top 5 albums of 2007.
Ahhhh and my gf got me a sweet Architects zip-up hoodie for my 18th :D |
I agree thoroughly... did Count Your Blessings come out this year or last year btw? I forget.
I'm nominating FGOV and HTTT though. |
Count your Blessings was last year mate.
|
don't forget Ghost of a fallen age ;)
and if anyone wants a YUGS invite just post your email |
Count your Blessings was last year mate.
Yeah, oh well, I've got good albums to nominate. |
How in the hell is Glass Casket not Deathcore?
Death Metal with Hardcore Influences. No arguments just facts.:thumb: |
