iPod's themselves are usually pretty reliable. The headphones are complete balls, though. What junk.

Yeah, I had to replace my headphones after about a month or something. Whatevs.

Mine hardly fit in my ears in the first place, really.

I play my iPod through speakers most of the time, though, so it's not a huge deal.

i had no problems with the white iPod earbuds, but one day i accidently squished one with my chair so i had to switch back to my old black Sony ones.

They're not bad but I think they're starting to conk out. Whenever the wind blows past me on a cold day they start crackling and shocking me! At least I think so, but I don't know how that could happen because iPods aren't exactly full of dozens of volts of electricity.

Earbuds are really unreliable. I've been through three pairs this year.

I really hope my iPod was still under warranty. To be without an iPod after having an iPod for so long would definitely suck. Not to mention all of the tunes I've lost. Weak.

I can't stand earbuds. I dont know how anyone else can either.

they're snug and they prevent people from discerning my music too easily

plus with an iPod it just feels weird having a music-playing device smaller than the headphones used to listen to it.

I use ear buds because they're easy to carry around. But if I'm at home, I use nice headphones.

earbuds are more portable, don't make you such a target as if you're wearing big headphones, and they don't **** up your hair.

edit: saying that there were some i think sennheiser headphones I was interested in, they fold up and stuff.

you're an easier target that way because you can't hear anything.

i can hear less with earbuds because my earholes are clogged. maybe thats cause the headphones i usually have are the cheap Walkman ones that don't actually enclose the whole ear.

If you're wearing earbuds then:
a) there's less chance said chavs will see them at all
b) if you're wearing some fat clunky audiophile headphones then you're more likely to get mugged, no?

I personally don't like walking around displaying my gadgets and stuff, but whatever.

Well no, it just looks funny casually walking along the street with giant headphones.

The earbud headphones don't sound as good. My phones cover the entire ear so I can't hear anything else when I'm listening to music.

For some reason I think you'd be at a lower risk of getting mugged with the huge headphones because you could be listening to anything -- mp3 player, CD player, cassette player. But white earbuds = mp3 player (or iPod).

I should also mention that YDload is a huge fag.
