Yeah I was thinking of sending it out. So different from ZZ Top. There's very little blues influences, it's pure psychedelic garage rock. I'm going to upload Dragonfly, it's a good psychedelic blues album with some very nice guitar.

And am I the only one who digs Little Free Rock? It's great stuff, give it a listen sometime.
Cool, I was thinking about downloading that Dragonfly album.

I also dig the Little Free Rock album.

thickasabrick 02-12-2006 04:23 PM

Heh heh, my creative writing teacher read our class that How to Sing the Blues thing last year. Me and her were the only ones that found it funny though.

TheDMV 02-12-2006 04:34 PM

That's a nice list. It got a little redundant at times though.

I sent out that Dragonfly album. It's good stuff. I'm glad other people are liking the Little Free Rock album. I think it's really awesome stuff. Probably my favorite album that I've got off that site.

np- Complex- Message From the Year 2000

That blues list is great. I love the blues. But I guess I'm not allowed to sing the blues.

Lunch 02-12-2006 04:48 PM

I've been happy with all the albums I've gotten from the site so far. This guy is my hero, pretty much.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 02-12-2006 04:50 PM

Has anyone downloaded Arthur Lee's Vindicator off the site yet?

jpj 02-12-2006 04:51 PM

I didn't really like the Dark album, which really surprised me.

TheDMV 02-12-2006 04:53 PM

sign me up for the lists I may not be on as well.

edit: I'm downloading Taste of Blues now. Seems pretty awesome.

Where can I get a file converter thing for rar?

robo2448 02-12-2006 05:13 PM

I think we should include a little description of each album we've gotten. You know, describe the general sound. Anyways, I've gotten:

The Growing Concern- s/t- California psychedelic pop, kind of a cross between the Mamas and Papas and the Byrds. Great male/female harmonies and pretty good guitarwork on some songs.
Complex- s/t- Really good psychedelia. Sweet stuff.
Dark- Round the Edges- Only listened to 1 song, but it was pretty good prog.
Little Free Rock- s/t- Awesome stuff. Psychedelic blues.
The Moving Sidewalks- Flash- pre ZZ Top Gibbons. Psychedelic Garage Rock, sounds kind of like the 13th Floor Elevators.
Dragonfly- s/t- Great psychedelic blues-rock with excellent guitarwork.
Lyd-Lyd- Psychedelic
Billy Cox-Nitro Function- The chick guitarist is really good.
Electric Hole s/t- Haven't listened to
Killing Floor- Out of Uranus:naughty:- Good blues-rock with some psychedelic elements.
Magi- Win Lose or Draw- Arena rock kind of like Zeppelin with a good singer. Pretty good.
Truth and Janey- Erupts- Great hard rock.
Taste of Blues- Schizophrenia- Crazy trippy stuff.
Euclid- Heavy Equipment- only 3 songs because the other downloads wouldn't work. Haven't listened yet.
Dylan part 1- Only has 2 songs.
The Beat of the Earth s/t- Haven't listened to yet, but it looks interesting- 2 20 minute songs.

I've been downloading all day because this snowstorm has prevented me from leaving my house much.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-12-2006 05:14 PM

theyre Mp3, you need winrar to unzip them (its the same thing as a .zip) get it off download.com

MBS 02-12-2006 05:26 PM

If i had a million dollars.

I would buy you a house.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-12-2006 05:29 PM

Who was that directed to?

robo2448 02-12-2006 05:55 PM

I just sent out Beat of Earth s/t. It might be the single craziest stuff I have ever listened to in my entire life. Just go download it now and be prepared to completely space out.

Lunch 02-12-2006 05:57 PM

I just sent out the Odin album, it was really good from what I remember (I've listened to a lot of new music today so I haven't really had a chance to take all the music in).

Has anyone heard the Parable of Arable Land by the Red Krayola? I got it off Soulseek awhile ago and it is really crazy. Probably one of (if not the) most psychedelic albums I've heard.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-12-2006 06:17 PM

I just send out the 7th Temple album from there, good stuff

Eat A Peach = pwns

Still downloading stuff. I hope everyone who can downloads the Monty Python album and definitely The Lost Trailers album I sent out. You won't regret it.

Holy crap, the bassline in Les Brers in A Minor just kicked in

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-12-2006 06:58 PM

Does anyone know where to find a good, acurate, FULL guitar tab of Jethro Tull's My God? UG has one version of it but it sucks.
