Gary Lover 02-19-2007 07:35 PM

Hey, Josiah. I'm looking forward to hearing your drum-off entry. Sounds interesting in concept! When do you think you'll have something up?

I can now play almost all of eulogy except for that wierd hat groove and some of the end..

I gotta work on the hat groove.

Gary Lover 02-19-2007 07:49 PM

That hats groove is legendary. Are you having trouble understanding it or do you just need to practice the coordination more?

Sunshine 02-19-2007 07:50 PM

Wow, my parents were just fighin' and screamin' at eachother and shit.

And, from what I could tell, it was about boiling water for maccaroni, aka, who gets to make dinner.

...screwed up, I say.

TimJim 02-19-2007 07:50 PM

my parents do that

co-ordination...this will all hopefully aid me in making more grooves like this in the future.

Sunshine 02-19-2007 07:53 PM

Well, like, I can almost understand about fighting like, "WHY DON'T YOU DO IT?!"

But this is like.

"Go back on the couch, I can boil the fucking water."

Or something.

I only heard 1/2 of it, I was sleeping up until that point.

Panopticon 02-19-2007 07:54 PM

I'm sure there's an underlining issue or two. The noodles were just the steam vent.

Today the lady who runs the music store I take lessons at said if I gave her a resume she'd try to get me some jobs for any summer programs/camps/workshops, etc. that they may have.
And she also said that when I graduate, if I go to university near there, I have a guarunteed job there, and can have as many hours as I want, whenever I want, and get $13.00 an hour.

Too bad I'm not going to go to university there :(

So my grampa's always telling me about global warming and how it's the biggest problem we face (and when I tell him there's more to the problem than just the temperature of the earth rising he just ignores me), but in the last 3 months he's flown from here to Phoenix and back, 9 times. That's 18 flights in the last quarter of a year. Not to mention he's flown to 39 other countries in his life. Not to mention the gas guzzler he drives half an hour both ways to his golf course every day, etc.

He's flying back down to Phoenix because his appointment got moved back 12 days at the doctor's, so 10 of those days he's going to spend in Phoenix.

And he's always telling me that I need to start taking action to stop it. Considering I don't drive, I haven't been on a plane in 10 years, I never ask for rides from friends and don't accept rides if the driver has to go out of his/her way. I've never even turned the thermostat in my house up in over 5 years.

But he's my grampa, and I don't want to point out the hypocrisy. :(

/pointless unapplicable venting
