sam dunno how thoroughly you looked this up but it looks like you only get disability money if your disability prevents you from working, and you have to prove it to a social security worker

i mean i doubt its as extreme as they make it sound

but yeah im sure they try and ensure that only people who actually, you know, can't work are getting disability money

it's not that extreme trust me or maybe it's socialized medicine or the situation im familiar with

i could plead the case that every job ive had i was fired from within 2 weeks as evidence im incompetent

spend some time in a psych ward it's really not that bad ^^

what i read said you need to have a medical record and show that you're getting treatment. i have been getting treatment and taking medication for close to 15 years and i have a pretty severe case. it also effects my school work and causes a great deal of anxiety

my friend is legally blind and the government sends him money all day

if it prevents you from socializing / going outside / keeping focus in a major way that you can describe and have the doctor understand properly
