Untitled 05-17-2007 04:06 PM

Tomorrow is the last studio day of uni :( its going to be sad. I dont wanna leave really, 1 year is too short to make really good mates, then everyone go all around the country, i havnt had time to get sick of them yet.

Pastorius 05-17-2007 04:49 PM

Well you get to see them again!

I have to admit, I've made closer friends this year with my flatmates then I did in my first year.

Untitled 05-17-2007 04:50 PM

TBH, i wont see them much, now we are all going onto degree, everyone goes all over the country, the people in leeds and manchester i will see, the rest i wont. Itll be fun though im sure, im excited for degree.

Pastorius 05-17-2007 06:31 PM

You did a Uni course that lasted 1 year?

Is this a proper University or like a 6th form college?

Im at Manchester Metropolitan University doing a Btec level 3 in art and design foundation studies. You can do foundations in colleges though, i choose to do it at a uni, i get all the benefits of being a uni student with non of the costs. And MMU is probably the best in the north west for that course, it got an ofsted grade 1 rating or something.

Im going to Leeds Metropolitan doing a BA Design course in september, i just found out the offer they have gave me is unconditional too :D

England are doing really well in the cricket too

(nice change to say that :) )

I manage it :)

Untitled 05-18-2007 10:48 AM

517 - 5, gosh, im a good mood with that score. :D:D

And with the whole uni thing.

Polyamarous 05-18-2007 11:35 AM

I got a 2004 Mk.4 VW golf for my 18th yesterday!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Untitled 05-18-2007 12:09 PM

Theres some absolute wankers around.

Me and my bro where bowling a cricket ball on the road outside out house nice and slow like, then it hits our knobhead neighbour's van on the bumper, so he goes skits and throws it threw our car window, so me ma phone the police haha, and we carried on playing ball.

Polyamarous 05-18-2007 01:52 PM

Haha, the way your phrased that story was brilliant1

Untitled 05-18-2007 01:58 PM

I type how i talk tbh, which is quite poorly haha.

Its better at a uni tbh, ive spoke to people who do it at colleges and they dont have half of the facility's we have, like we have wood, metal and glass workshops, animation suites, darkrooms, etc.

some people have non of that.

Pastorius 05-18-2007 02:36 PM

Yeah I can imagine it being a huge advantage to have access to degree level facilities.

Being a physicist, I just do the experiments they put in front of me! Although I must admit they've been a lot better in Uni.

School experiments - putting weights on a spring
Uni Experiments - PLAYING WITH LIQUID NITROGEN

ChodaBoy 05-18-2007 02:37 PM

Egh, I cant wait until this BT contract runs out. The service has been awful lately, so dont bother with em!

Pastorius 05-18-2007 02:39 PM

AND they have the most annoying adverts in the Universe.

It's like they're trying to make another OXO family or something.

There are so many adverts that annoy me, it's just like: "This must have been approved by someone to be aired on national television..."

Polyamarous 05-18-2007 03:09 PM

I love liquid nitrogen, my friend does physics here at exeter uni and he froze my burger king lunch and smashed it.

It was so good.

Haha NTL used to be terrible then it got taken over.

ChodaBoy 05-18-2007 03:35 PM

The annoying part is that we went to BT specifically because we had been told customer service was great. When each time you phone India and they give you a different story as to why the problem exists, that is not good customer service. Especially when I knew what the problem was from the beggining!

Jev 05-18-2007 04:10 PM

People from India phone my mobile at 5am.
I don't like it.
