I love Gangs of New York. It's a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio that I can stand.

The guy on the album of the Crosscut Saw album looks surprisingly like Johnny Winter.

MBS 02-11-2006 12:35 PM

Can anyone upload "In The Court of The Crimson King", "Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1", and Vai's "Passion and Warfare"? I'll upload something in return (tomorrow or Monday)

Oh and the Who Live At Leeds por favor :)

I'll upload Try!, Hot Rats (for those who don't have it), and a couple of TSO albums in return?

Badmoon 02-11-2006 12:46 PM

Born on the Wrong Planet is uploading.

Does anyone have Uncle Tupelo - Still Feel Gone.

I'd give anything for that album.

I have a good amount of Grateful Dead I think..

Check my list, it's up there.

I have most of it, not the whole thing though. And I like to have the whole album from the same master, in other words, not a bunch of seperate songs put in the right order, but all ripped from the same CD. I find the overall quality and sound is more consistent that way.

My copy is ripped directly from my Sgt. Peppers CD.

Krabsworth 02-11-2006 01:50 PM

MBS, are you going to upload all of that list?

MBS 02-11-2006 01:53 PM
MBS, are you going to upload all of that list?
Travs? Heh, no, I don't think my poor bandwidth can take that much at one time. I've promised a lot of uploads, so I'm uploading everything before I download.

I'll get him Sgt. Peppers and Atom Heart Mother tomorrow.

Edit: and MidnightRider, I haven't gotten around to your Buckley uploads, but I'm uploading Grace for the Daily Upload so I'll send you that, okay?

I'm gonna upload Friday Night in San Francisco for those who don't have it, it's one of my favorite acoustic albums ever.

/has a list of 6 or 7 uploads

Badmoon 02-11-2006 01:58 PM

Born on the Wrong Planet -- sent.

Thank you. Anything you want off mine?

np: Me & My Uncle

MBS 02-11-2006 02:01 PM

I love this thread. We're like our own underground mailing list, and no one signs up for it because no one ever checks out the thread.

JonG 02-11-2006 02:02 PM

Duh. :p

That's why I like it.

And the classic rock talk of course..

robo2448 02-11-2006 02:03 PM

I'm going to upload an album by Little Free Rock that I got from the site. You guys will like it a lot. I've only listened to the first and last songs so far, but the first was a really good psychedelic rocker and the last song is a 10+ minute awesome jam. Sweet stuff.

And yeah our underground mailing list thing is pretty cool. Nobody notices us.

magicbus 02-11-2006 02:05 PM

I'm YSI'ing the Cream bootleg right now. I'll send it out when it's done.

NP: Cream - I'm So Glad

BigTrav415 02-11-2006 02:07 PM

Thank you for whatever you upload, MBS.

I really want to upload something for someone, I didn't waste my time on that list for nothing :p

God... after looking at some of these album lists, I feel tiny and insignificant. Jon, if you could upload one iota of that Dead monstrosity er, collection, I would be eternally grateful*. And someone upload Eat A Peach, jpj said he was, but I still don't have it in my inbox.

EDIT: *unintended pun :p

MBS 02-11-2006 02:09 PM

So I introduced this freshman to Frank Zappa and Jeff Buckley and now he won't stop bothering me for more. :(

But it feels good to have converted one. He used to like System of a Down. :upset:

MidnightRider 02-11-2006 02:18 PM
Edit: and MidnightRider, I haven't gotten around to your Buckley uploads, but I'm uploading Grace for the Daily Upload so I'll send you that, okay?
That's cool.

So, my new Ibanez RG1570 is completely badass. I've been playing it for the last 5 hours.

JonG 02-11-2006 02:20 PM

You lucky slut.

That's such a nice guitar.

I'm an Ibanez whore, love 'em.

thickasabrick 02-11-2006 02:21 PM

Awesome, what kind of amp are you using? I'm in the mood to play guitar today too, and also play Warcraft since someone mentioned it...it's been years since I played Warcraft but I'm sure it's laying around somewhere.

I never noticed that guy adds 3 more albums per day to his site. This is unbeleivable.

edit - My first guitar was an Ibanez, it was definitely a great guitar. Unfortunately I was just renting it, and when I stopped taking lessons from that place they gave it to someone else...and I ended up buying a Squier. Haha. The Squier served me well, it was my only electric for like two years and then I ended up selling it for more than I bought it for.

I haven't played Warcraft in forever. I used to love that game.

123. Hey Jon, plot to kill him and steal, rite?

BigTrav415 02-11-2006 02:28 PM
//mentions Warcraft
World Of Warcraft or the RTS Warcrafts? If WoW, what realm(s) are you in?

MidnightRider 02-11-2006 02:30 PM
Awesome, what kind of amp are you using?
