Ok so when I try to download the files from that site it won't work for me because WMP can't recognize .rar files or something. So should I get something to convert them or would it be better to get Itunes or something?
it's rar'ed which is the same as it being zipped. you need winrar to unzip it. get it from download.com.
If you want some good prog, be on the lookout for Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick.
J-Tull's been covered. It's my bro's favorite Classic Rock group, and one of my dad's favorites. So my house is loaded with their CD's/Vinyl.
I like True Romance! It's so action packed!

I really like this new Cream bootleg I have. It's them live at Oakland, CA. A couple of the tracks from this show (White Room, Politician) were released on Live Cream Vol. 1, I think. It's very good quality.
Uploads? Please? Yeah those tracks are on Live Cream Vol. 2. The first 3 on Live Cream Vol. 2 (Deserted Cities of the Heart, White Room, and Politician) come from an Oakland show and the final 3 songs are from San Francisco. Actually the 2nd half of the cd is much, much better IMO, but all live Cream is gold.

Hey Animosity, check out this website we've been obsessing over for the last couple of days.

Tons of underground prog stuff that you'll probably like if you like the bands you listed above.

Lunch, get WinRar.

Lunch 02-11-2006 11:30 AM

WTF, all the downloads say it costs money.

BigTrav415 02-11-2006 11:32 AM

It shouldn't. The free trial version lasts forever like Winzip.

PinkFreud 02-11-2006 11:33 AM
WTF, all the downloads say it costs money.
lies. they just ask if you want to buy it, you can say no over and over again, and itll still work for you.

Lunch 02-11-2006 11:34 AM

Ok that sounds good then.

Supposedly I'm on a 40-day trial period now.

Badmoon 02-11-2006 11:36 AM
What's an Olympics?
living under a rock? :p

True Romance owns. I love the whole pace, look, theme and soundtrack to it. Tony Scott did a great job directing it.
I don't like the Kill Bill's. Those are the Tarentino movies I dislike..

:\
I like both Kill Bill films quite a bit; especially Vol. 2. Michael Madsen and David Carradine really make that movie.

Broken Arrow 02-11-2006 11:42 AM

I can send out the second half of that Dark album okay?

I watched Boondock Saints last ngiht, thats a sweet movie.

Illmatic 02-11-2006 11:44 AM

I don't really like Quentin Tarantino all that much anymore. Whenever I try to watch his movies they just end up being pretty boring.

TheDMV 02-11-2006 11:46 AM

How many movies has Tarentino done?

MBS 02-11-2006 11:47 AM
I like both Kill Bill films quite a bit; especially Vol. 2. Michael Madsen and David Carradine really make that movie.
I agree, David Carradine was perfect for his role.
How many movies has Tarentino done?
Well, Kill Bill Vol 1 said "The 4th Film By Quentin Tarentino" so I'm guessing 5. 6, if you include Hostel, or that movie he helped with. I forgot the title, but I think it's hostel.

Badmoon 02-11-2006 11:50 AM
How many movies has Tarentino done?
Well, it's kind of hard to say which movies are his and which aren't, being that he did not always, direct and write them. So, instead I'll put a link.

This stupid Rapidshare isn't working for me.

Anyone who finds some good stuff from that site will be rewarded for uploading any of it.

ATM 02-11-2006 11:51 AM

I've never seen Kill Bill.

Illmatic 02-11-2006 11:52 AM

You aren't missing out on much.

PinkFreud 02-11-2006 11:52 AM

he only "produced hostel."

reservoir dogs
pulp fiction
jackie brown
kill bill 1
kill bill 2

he's also got two on the way or something.

i like all except true romance. reservoir dogs is getting there too. pulp fiction is still as good as it ever was. true romance just seems hollow and the actiing is uninspired.

Badmoon 02-11-2006 11:53 AM

Do you like Jackie Brown?

Its probbably because you have to wait 70 minutes between each download which blows

i downloaded all of the Jade Warrior, its all really good.

Broken Arrow 02-11-2006 11:56 AM

Did you get Thick's email?

If not I'll forward it too you, if you did I'm uploading the other half of the album.

I wonder why it's not working for you? You do have to wait for like 40 seconds until these letters/numbers come up than you type them in and it should work.

Welcome to the Machine, upload maybe?

PinkFreud 02-11-2006 11:56 AM

my bad, he only wrote true romance. robert rodriguez directed it, i think?

jackie brown was ok. i didnt think it was outstanding or anything.

my favorite director remains martin scorcese. you can't argue with a resume like his.

goodfellas
casino
raging bull
gangs of new york
taxi driver
mean streets

among others. i wasnt so hot on the aviator though.

edit: with rapidshare, if you wait too long to type in the letters & numbers it'll say that the download session is invalid and you have to do it again.

Broken Arrow 02-11-2006 11:58 AM

+ the Last Waltz and No Direction Home ;)

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-11-2006 11:58 AM

Yeah ill upload all 3 Livewired

PinkFreud 02-11-2006 11:59 AM
+ the Last Waltz and No Direction Home ;)
truth. he's great. and he's never won a best director oscar. sad times.

JonG 02-11-2006 12:03 PM

Yeah, Scorcese is awesome.

:)

Broken Arrow 02-11-2006 12:05 PM

Crosscut Saw sounds awesome.
robert rodriguez directed it, i think?
Tony Scott actually. The guy who directed Domino and Top Gun.
goodfellas

I really liked The Aviator, I thought that deserved Best Picture of 2004 or Eternal Sunshine.

As far as the rest of the films go, I love some of the acting in Gangs of New York, and believe that Harvey Keitel's the true star in Mean Streets. And of course, then rest of the movies are classics.

I plan on putting up my RYM list for anyone that wants anything, I still kind of owe you guys (Jon especially) for not putting up Elevation. I'm trying to upload it now though.

I ended up finding it, which I thought was cool.

:)

The only other album I wanted from you was the SCI album on your Top 25 albums.

I'll upload Crosscut Saw - Mad, Bad, and Dangerous To Know

ugh. and man on fire? ridiculous. harvey keitel's acting is usually great. especially in mean streets and taxi driver.

i definitely thought he should have won best director for gangs of new york.
