So can anyone tell me what they thought about CoB's latest release? I haven't heard such good things but I haven't gotten round to actually listening to it.... Is it even worth the Effort?

If you're Mr. Tr00 grim fan, then no it ain't. But if you are a defenite fan of CoB, you love their music no matter what, it's a great buy. It is by no means another "Hatebreeder" or "Follow The Reaper"...the riffs have gotten a little dumbed down and have more of a hard rock edge (everything is tuned to CGCFAD), but it's still a great album in my opinion.

a friends friend has email contact with alexi laiho over 10years, before they got famous... even then they changed tabs together and when CoB will came to Vienna on 6.1. he will visit them,... so the only thing is to ask him, if i can go with him :D

Anyway, I figured out how to make them sound better with distortion: just turn the bass down on my distortion pedal. :lol:

i wanna have a Jackson DXMG ... thats my dreamguitar... afterwards (my 2# dreamguitar) is a jackson Flying V (Alexi Laiho's "wildchild"-guitar)

Les Paul pickups sound so amazing for tapping according to me. I have no idea why, they even sound better than EMG's in that department.

Just to get off the topic of new COB, does anybody know why kind of pedal or effect it is which can make your guitar sound like a violin? Or simply what Alexi and Roope used in the "Passage To The Reaper" video?

Yes, well at least the solo at the end (if that is the one you are talking about) is both Keyboard and Guitar, they are playing the same parts but you can tell when they start to separate.
