:chug:
yeah!
what was it?

Danger Bird 10-25-2006 08:43 PM

It was a Guzey shirt (see last page or two). It's not the one I took a picture of, I gave that one to Guzey for free. This one has a pocket on the front and brings me in a profit of $2.

Grogsky 10-25-2006 10:30 PM

I stenciled my friends name on the back of his cross country shirt. it was P.Diss. anyways got $2. i thought i was a little over price. but then again i hate doing letters.

Ghostfire3 10-27-2006 10:48 PM

I got $2 for a shirt I made for a friend. I actually didn't even want the money but my friend made me take it.

asdf 10-29-2006 01:29 AM

A friend used to steal paint for me so that I would make stuff for her.

Finally one day I said "you know this DIY thing... I guess the point of it is to do it yourself." She said "oh, never thought of it that way" and never really bothered me again.

What's a diy way to remove makeup? Cuz water's not doing the trick.

Jon 10-29-2006 10:52 AM

sunflower oil.

just close your eyes and wash it off with water afterwards.

Buzzbomb 10-29-2006 07:41 PM

Anyone know where I can get a decent leather or jean jacket online?

(r)evolution 10-29-2006 08:56 PM
Anyone know where I can get a decent leather or jean jacket online?
how is this DIY?

i think you should just google it.

Buzzbomb 10-29-2006 09:07 PM

Well, I sure don't know how to make one. And making a thread for the subject would be stupid now wouldn't it? And once I get a jacket I'd be able to test out my DIY skills.

(r)evolution 10-29-2006 09:12 PM

so you had no luck finding one at thrift stores and stuff? if you really look you can get a quality used leather jacket for under 40 bucks.

Buzzbomb 10-29-2006 09:13 PM

I live in a rural area, there are no thrift stores.

No, it's impossible. They don't sell leather.

Flagjacket 10-29-2006 09:28 PM

Yeah I know what Justin is talking about. The leather that they do have at thrift stores is like, womens with the belts or ones that say HARELY DAVIDSON everywhere.

The print came out pretty good, but you have to watch out for the over-spray, it just ruins the shirt. Next time, put newspaper anywhere that's not going to be painted on.

No you can't, even the cheapest of cheap charity and vintage shops around here have leather jackets for £40-£80, no less, ever.

Saying that, I got my white fringed cowboy jacket for £10, and my black trenchcoat for £10, but they're not very thick leather, and I was referring to biker jackets.

Saying that, Eran, if you ever see a leather biker jacket in a charity shop in my sizeish (34 chest maybe?) please tell me.

edit: to the guy that asked: leatherup.com if you're american.

So geniuses, how do you DIY a half-stack, tuner, wireless unit, three sets of 9-42s and a pair of boots?

Be wicked punx and steal it from bowie. Or just your local guitar center.

You'd wear anything you slut!

I discovered an amazing discover that could revolutionise the stencilling world: Linoleum. Seriously, it's easy to cut, you can get shitloads of it in skips for free, and it rolls up neatly, so you can cut a massive stencil, spray it, roll it up and leggit all within 60 seconds.
