I actually can't stand them. This is of course just based of the way they look.

I've never actually played one before.

This.

I have no desire to play one just because of how they look.

I'd buy a Bongo sooner than I'd buy a headless bass.

I have never played one either, but I love the look. I figure that if I don't like the bass I can sell it for just as much. I think that headless basses look way better. I am giddy right now, these two weeks are going to kill me.

what kind of turntable is it? vintage or new? what are good? i'm thinking about getting a DJ style one so i can get good sound quality that can go through my current stereo setup, but will also work for sampling, as i hope to get into beatmaking soon.

:) It's a new song that he recorded while doing the sessions for Hospital Music.

Actually, it's an old song, but it's a new recording and infinitely better than the old ones.

But would they sell a set that light, or would I have to buy a six string set and not use the B and E strings?

The Chemist 03-25-2007 10:06 PM

that would work

or bari guitar strings

funkyhoney 03-25-2007 10:08 PM

get a 6 set

BenJammin 03-25-2007 10:08 PM

Some stores sell bulk strings. If they do, you're okay.

If not, you'll have to buy a 6er pack.

Ok. Actually I just remembered juststrings.com, might have to check out those prices. I am just going to have 2 four string basses and I have always wanted to try ADGC on one, so now is my chance. Although I should sell a bass to make back my money that I spent on my new one.

tenor = fun

but not for me all the time

Aerodyne 03-25-2007 10:14 PM

I know D'addario sells custom gauge individuals, so you could get extra lights with a High C.

Did you know that when tumbleweeds roll across the desert, the seeds they spread are produced in such large numbers that the plant has not developed protective coatings or food reserves for the coiled plant embryos?

Yep, the casual is covered in plant skeet.

Or,

You could buy a set of Labella Hard rockin Steel M45C.. and then you will only have the E string as a spare.. but i would guess that someone sell Tenor stings?

or!
La bella Hard rockin steel Piccolo M20 Light...

Amazing strings BTW, im trying to decide between them and the Optima Gold Strings, but im quite happy with the optimas, so i dont know..

Ting 03-26-2007 05:46 AM
