How much do you have to upload to not get banned after 5gigs on Waffles? Isn't it like, 500MB or something stupid?

Just upload one fairly major classical work in FLAC (rent a CD from a library), that's sort you out even if only one person downloads it. That's all I've done, really, and it's got me up to 9GB uploaded.

I've gradually uploaded about a gig on waffles, mostly due to getting a Flaming Lips album on there early (much love to Amit for the invite). I've got 6gb credited to me though, early on they added 5gb to new users' upload credit and I got lucky.

Yeah I grabbed a Slipknot album because somebody told me it was a goldmine, and they were right - 1/3 of all my uploading comes from that one record.

i had like 25 GB uploaded to waffles and then they ban me a few days days later for them not liking my posting on the forum hell why didn't they just permanently suspend my forum privileges, i was a perfectly fine and obviously contributing user other than that, the punishment certainly didn't fit the crime.


edit and they banned me and aria and amit but ****ing amit gets back on and we're kicked off pretty much just because we post on another music forum, mx

i've stopped using waffles for the most part. what is superior in pretty much every way, and the forums don't completely suck like they do on waffles.

both forums seem lame
what has the sheer volume, not to mention the layout is friendly
i keep having major ****ing port forwarding hassles so i'll keep trying on that
