Pigs(3different ones) Animals Tour, Montreal, July 6th, 1977
WOAAAAAAAAAAAAH that is the one where Roger spits on the fan, its during that song you found on hell of a treasure thank you for this amazing amazing amazing bootleg now i shall listen to this |
I think Animals - The final Cut is Rogers era. Saucerful - WYWH was a team effort in my opinion.
Agreed. Much more of a team effort. Except, even then it was mostly Waters and Gilmour. |
Also agreed with Gilmour. After WYWH, Waters just slowly took over until he was basically in tota. control on The Final Cut.

That would make more sense but I still consider it to be Roger's era of the Floyd. After Final Cut is where David's era began. |
I never payed attention to "David`s Era"...
Got to admit, Floyd , the the Final Cut... that`s when we cut the cord. Although, I`d give a hell of alot to see that band without Waters anyway. Never got to see any of them  |

Sorry magicbus, ill have to wait till tomorrow to upload the song.
|
I think you're insane but people say the same thing about me when I say Syd Barrett era Floyd is better than Roger Waters era Pink Floyd. I don't enjoy Gilmour's era Floyd at all.
Syd > Roger > David (era Floyd)
im not saying that i think the pink floyds best songs are :wywh , confurtubly numb , heave a cigar , hey you , when roger share the composition with david , but the albums (complete) are better AMLOR , and the division bell. Can you tell me a song that you dont like from those albums? |
I think Animals - The final Cut is Rogers era. Saucerful - WYWH was a team effort in my opinion.
why not The dark side too i thnik that is a team effort too. "if we all pull together as a team" |

I actually think the Waters era was just The Wall and The Final Cut. Waters only entirerly wrote Pigs on the Wing (parts I and II.) All the other songs were written by all of them. I guess Waters must have written all the lyrics, though. |
the song Sorrow from AMLOR is AMAZING
it's a masterpiece and one of my favorite songs. actually im listening to it right now. There are other good songs too on AMLOR |

In the credits, it says Waters wrote everything entirely except for Dogs, which was a dual effort with him and Gilmour. Zetabossio, Dark Side was written after Saucerful of Secrets and before WYWH, so that would put it in the teamwork period. |

i did include that in the "team effort" category. Have a Cigar isnt on DSotM
the song Sorrow from AMLOR is AMAZING it's a masterpiece and one of my favorite songs. actually im listening to it right now. if you could, that would be unbelievably awesome. But, if it's going to be a hassle, don't worry about it, I can always wait for the DVD.

There is a VHS, but I can't watch VHS tapes on my computer.
I'd use Limewire, but I hate P2P services. I just hate them. |
Anyone read the book Nick Mason wrote?

Inside Out, or something like that. I heard good things.
|
Haha, good stuff DeusEx :thumb:
Ok, tommorow ill be at my house on MY computer where I'm sure I have a program that can zip the video into 2 different files, that should let me put the video on 2 links on you send it.com then you just have to download both files and unzip and voila it'll take a while to upload, and a while to download for you guys but hey this is a M U S T have so be just a bit more patient youll get your complete pulse concert , live in earl's court. |
I think we should talk in here more. This is the only place I have to discuss Pink Floyd with other people who love them, and boy, do I love them.
I haven't read the Nick Mason book, but I do have "A Saucerful of Secrets: The Pink Floyd Odyssey". I have yet to finish it, but it's very detailed so far. |
Ive skimmed through the book, the pictures alone are worth it :D
