Ugh.

I had to do pilates.

With my period. While my tampax was leaking.

One of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life.

Undisco Kidd 10-30-2006 03:57 PM

Tonight: 28 Days Later.
Tomorrow: The Original Dawn of the Dead.
Day After Halloween: Shaun of the Dead.

it feels so good to have all school work out of the way. i can focus everything on drumset and vibes.

UTI = Urinary Tract Infection AND Universal Technical Institute.

Coincidence? I hope so, I have a friend who goes there.

Drum Phil 10-30-2006 04:03 PM

Well im sure drinking 2 litres of fake red bull cant be good for you.

And yeah ive seen the green mile, and UTI can in fact make you collapse in pain.

Lucky for me i was quite finished before i fell.

Sync0pation 10-30-2006 04:32 PM

just got some B8 hats for 15$

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 04:35 PM

i've still got some b8's laying around in my drum room. i haven't touched them in a long while.

i wish i could find some way to modify them so that they sound unique and then incorporate them into my kit as x-hats.

Drum Phil 10-30-2006 04:41 PM

Drill them?

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 04:43 PM

that's exactly what i was thinking. i just got through looking at some pics of meinl filter chinas to see how many and where the drill holes are b/c i also have a zxt china i haven't touched in a long while.

i'll probably do that this weekend.

Drum Phil 10-30-2006 04:44 PM

I just drilled em whereever i felt like it.

Corkofski 10-30-2006 04:45 PM

All of those movies kick so much ***. seriously awesome films. Romeros films are so great, shaun of the dead is funny as hell and 28 days later is cool too. And they speak my language at the end!! check it out, when the helicopter comes there is a male voice who says: "lähetänkö helikopterit?" whitch means "Should I send the helicopters"

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 04:47 PM

probably won't make much a difference where they're located any who

and i let you know how it turns out sync

TTTSNB 10-30-2006 04:52 PM

I love naps. They have been my savior in college, haha.

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 04:54 PM

i know a lot of people in college who nap, but i just can't do it. i end of waking up sluggish and lazy and then i can't fall asleep when i need to, which meens i can't wake up when i need to.

so, i just soldier through the day and stay up the whole time.

Dave*Grohl 10-30-2006 04:56 PM

He likes naps, he really likes naptime, a couple of naps and then a nap and then he's ready for bed

Sync0pation 10-30-2006 04:57 PM

Yeah I'm horrible at waking up after naps. It's like i'm always in NREM sleep, it takes at least 5 hours of sleep for me to wake up without feeling super groggy for a while. Then I can't go back to sleep at night becuase I slept so much.

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:12 PM

that's my problem right there.

White Riot! 10-30-2006 05:15 PM

solid block of 8-10 hours sleep gives me the energy for hours

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:18 PM

i average about 6.5 hours a night. maybe 7 on a good night.

that's enough to get me through the day. it give me enough energy to go to class, ride my bike, run, workout, do homework, study.

suprisingly it takes more energy out of me to do homework and study.

Win A Rabbit 10-30-2006 05:19 PM

Considering crackers and cheese a meal just screams out "I have had the most relaxing day possible." I love crackers and cheese.

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:21 PM

i've made a box of goldfish a meal on more than one occasion.

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:24 PM

anyone have any ideas as to how i could add some sizzlers to the bottom hat of a pair of old b8's.

i can't think of a homemade means of attaching them to the cymbal. i was planning on buying a cheap tamborine, taking the jingle do-ads off, drilling the bottom hat and adding the jinglers to the bottom hat.

hammer them
add sizzle rivets (do as you sid, but put them on the top hat

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:28 PM

i have no means of adding rivets though.

Janeway 10-30-2006 05:28 PM

I want a nap now.

But oh, I have jazz band. =(

The Chemist 10-30-2006 05:30 PM

do the tambourine thing

but fierce hammer them
like jojo mayer's ride
and file down random poins on the bottom hat... try to get the mastersound ripples

LoneStarDrummer 10-30-2006 05:32 PM

i'll try to get a nice rippled edge. still don't know how to attach the little jingle things
