They played decent I will admit that Paul played better last year but it was still decent they played Start Me Up, Rough Justice and Satisfaction (Whoa so many suprises.) Keith was a little off, Mick obviously doesn't have the voice that he had even 5 years ago, but Charlie was pretty close to flawless I thought, overall they played well, no major mess ups but just some errors here and there.
Some certain people have other opinions, you know? Like they were "Emo fags".

Last.fm is in, rejoice!

My last.fm isn't updating, yet. :(

That picture on that site isn't flattering for Dylan. He looks horrible.

Guys, I'm scared as hell. Today in study hall (second to last period), I was playing Call Of Duty when the bell rang. As usual, I closed my laptop, which automatically puts it in hibernate, and walked to World Cultures. Normally I'd have taken notes on my laptop in WC, but today we just discussed current events, so I didn't take it out. When I got home, I opened up the case, and it was like a heatwave puring out of the zipper. I pulle dit out, and it was still on, and the CD was spinning like crazy. I still had CoD up when I shut it, so that kept it from hibernating. So it was in a small, enclosed pocket, with the CD spinning and emitting normal heat, for about an hour and a half. The scary part is that there is a mild smell of burning plastic :( I have to say it's internal, because there is nothing wrong with the outside :( I love my laptop so much, I can't believe this happened.

But otherwise today was cool. We listened to all of Sgt. Pepper's in Art today :O

Last.fm couldn't take any longer to update.

I'm looking forward to some new Dylan. I wonder what it will sound like. Love and Theft was very good. My last.fm hasn't updated yet.

He then proceeds to say the RHCP are not music because he doesn't like them. I love n00bs.

I'm pissed that last.fm isn't updating. It's already Tuesday evening.

Even better is his next post:
and as for the error for the forum this is my fist time ever using these things I'm always outside biking or partying
As if the ability to read "Rock and Metal" has anything to do with using a forum its more of an literate/common sense thing.

It seems that last.fm is now updating on Mondays. Its probably just really late, like usual.

I'm even more confused about the fact that you are allowed to just play games on it.

MBS 02-07-2006 06:18 PM

1 Trans-Siberian Orchestra 44
2 Jeff Buckley 15
3 Barenaked Ladies 11
4 Radiohead 10
5 The Beatles 4
6 Shade Of Blue 2
6 Frank Zappa 2
6 George Harrison 2
6 Neil Young 2
6 Rush 2

A 4 way tie for 6th. Rather shocking, actually. It seems the 90's music has invaded my last.fm :p
I'm even more confused about the fact that you are allowed to just play games on it.
Yeah, I don't get that either.
do you like ac/dc?
I've been asking for the longest time, but no one has ever told me: WHO IS AC/DC?!?! :upset:
It seems the 90's music has invaded my last.fm :p
You traitor.

Seriously though, 90's music is incredibile. Pearl Jam, Rage; when you look past some of the junk, I'd say that a very high percentage of 90's stuff was great. Much better than the 80's in my opinion.

Glitterati 02-07-2006 06:23 PM
yea all thos bands are awsome

but does anyone hear listen to new bands? like not new new, but like 90s?
Yes, I listen to modern stuff like The Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, Broken Social Scene, The Arcade Fire, etc.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-07-2006 06:25 PM

Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier. The 90's had classic albums like Grace, RATM's s/t, OK Computer, Blue Album, and Phish.

The 80's had "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)"

Can you wait 'til Sunday? I'm finally getting cable and I'm going on an uploading/downloading spree. Also, is .m4a fine with you?

I think the 90's was a great time for music as well. It wasn't music's best era, but it was pretty dam good. For the first time since before the 80's there seemed to be a lot of new bands trying new things and them catching on.

Today was awesome, my friends parents weren't home so we HB'd his garage. I had my cds with me so I pulled out Piper at The Gates of Dawn and put it on. Most of my friends listen to like Nickleback, so they thought it was really weird and made me turn it off after Bike. :(

Congrats on NRMOTM. Bike is so cool. But isn't it the last song?

I haven't really heard any Smashing Pumpkins but the singer's voice always annoyed me. Maybe I'll give them another shot.

Last.fm is so screwed up right now.

pigonthewing82 02-07-2006 07:41 PM

Has anyone here heard the Who song Pure and Easy? I love the lyrics to that song everytime I hear it I wonder what Lifehouse could have been.

I was thinking this too but I got beat.

I made a cool song on my acoustic in DGDDAD tuning. :D

BigTrav415 02-07-2006 07:44 PM

Maybe he skipped to Bike to listen to it earlier. MidnightRider, you should have played Interstellar Overdrive, than Astronomy Domine, then Lucifer Sam. Talk about blowing some CR newbie minds.

And to clear up, I brought my laptop to school today. I usually don't, but I felt like it. I finished my homework in study hall, so I played CoD for like 10 minutes.

And MidnightRider, you deserved the NRMOTM me thinks.
