I don't plan to. Not to generalize/stereotype, but when a black man gets pissed, he gets pissed.

Oh no, not another stereotype about a black man, hasn't the black man taken enough abuse from the oppressive white man in this thread?

Kurtz 04-04-2005 09:39 PM

Haha.

I hate that whole Black Panther mentality.

Fine. *Hands Ray my wallet* Here's my wallet. I'll stop oppressing you now.

So can a white man, an asian man etc etc as well.

Depends on the personality of the person, not the race.

And why does it matter, this is the internet, rub it in his face all you want. It will be funny...

Illmatic 04-04-2005 09:49 PM

UNC's MVPs:

1982: Georgetown's Fred Brown (throws pass right to UNC's James Worthy with about 15 seconds left; UNC beats GTown 63-62)
1993: Michigan's Chris Webber (down two or three points, he calls a timeout in the final possession but UM didn't have any; UNC gets a free throw and the ball and win)
2005: the refs (Sean May could have elbowed me in the nose and the ref would have called a foul on me)

I'm not pissed; there's kind of this numb feeling right now. I'm too upset to even cry. I'm a Red Sox fan so I know this feeling.

Riva 04-04-2005 09:51 PM

Hehe, nice one Ray. We get stupid refs in Australia too. Especially at Lion's games.

So, I am sitting here, eating fresh pineapple slices, whilst I relax on the internet, and a pleasant breeze comes through the dense rainforest foilage around my house, and cools me down.

Discuss how idyllic my life is.

Sweet.

Illmatic 04-04-2005 09:56 PM

Wow...just wow.

This stings 100 times worse than Aaron Boone.

Illmatic 04-04-2005 09:58 PM
Sweet.
It's not his fault. And you can't deny the refs were leaning to Carolina.
Wow...just wow.

Yeah im a Yankee fan.

But if i was a redsox fan i wouldnt be complaining. The 04 playoffs were the best thing to happen to boston in a while.
It's not his fault. And you can't deny the refs were leaning to Carolina.
Haha yeah to be honest, 15 mins into the game i was like "unc is playing good, but damn they are getting every call"

Jom 04-04-2005 10:00 PM
Rationalization.
Defense mechanism++

Illmatic 04-04-2005 10:09 PM

Eh. I don't even have some sort of comeback. I'm not tired, not hungry...I don't even feel like drinking until I can't remember this.
But if i was a redsox fan i wouldnt be complaining. The 04 playoffs were the best thing to happen to boston in a while.
Yeah, I'm on a grace period because of that, but Aaron Boone still hurt a lot. I'd call it my generation's Buckner, but the circumstances aren't the same.

Endless Obsession 04-04-2005 10:11 PM

Ray, do u go to Illinois, or are u just a big fan?

Illmatic 04-04-2005 10:24 PM

I am a student there.

ATM 04-04-2005 10:47 PM

Sup?

Illmatic 04-04-2005 10:48 PM

Feeling very numb.

Illinois lost as you may or may not know.

ATM 04-04-2005 10:50 PM

Oh well, you can't win them all.

Illmatic 04-04-2005 10:53 PM

When you're #1 you're supposed to.

This is arguably the most attached I've ever been to a team.

To have it end like this...wow.

Permanent Solution 04-04-2005 10:54 PM

RMOTM Finals up :)

Back in a bit. Dinner :)

Illmatic 04-04-2005 10:55 PM

Hey Vinny.

Little late for dinner :p

ATM 04-04-2005 10:55 PM

I like your user title and avatar, Ray. My uncle looks just like The Dude.

Permanent Solution 04-04-2005 10:56 PM

Meh, 950 :)

Store closes at 10 so I'll be sprinting :)
