Against Miik! 06-07-2010 05:15 PM

That sucks. We should try again at some point. I think the artists are pretty easy to decide on, but which album from each artist is questionable.

witchxrapist 06-07-2010 07:13 PM
The new I Declare War is pretty good. Heavy but still technical and meloedic enough so that doesn't get boring.
IDK they're just pretty boring in general.
taking your last chance
thoughts?
i suggested them in this thread a few weeks (?) ago, i really think "decorations" is good, very brutal and totally on par with american deathcore despite being filthy thrid-world commies. his vocals are fcking insane.

i have to acquire new Whitechapel and new I Declare War (i wasn't even aware of the latter)

2muchket! 06-08-2010 08:59 AM
we tried, but we ended up arguing about it too much.
this didn't happen at all you lying fag

it'd be really easy to pick essential deathcore albums

Animosity - Animal, Rifles at Recess - To Whisper in Tongues, Whitechapel - The Somatic Defilement, All Shall Perish - The Price of Existence, Veil of Maya - The Common Man's Collapse, Camilla Rhodes - The Onyx Sun, The Red Chord - Fused Together in Revolving Doors, Despised Icon - The Healing Process, Through the Eyes of the Dead - Split ep, At the Throne of Judgment - The Arcanum Order.

Covers all the different types, included in TTEOTD and ATTOJ even though they're more melo death. Same with Rifles at Recess. Feel free to add to it but I will veto any **** album.

encmetalhead 06-08-2010 09:49 AM

New Whitechapel is boring
New I Declare War is HEAVY
New And Hell Followed With is amazing
New Danza is amazing

xMalcolmXx 06-08-2010 11:29 AM

i need new danza

forgetting glass casket, ion dissonance, knights of the abyss, the red shore and gwaves of valor brah. and i'm going to throw with dead hands rising - expect hell in there even though nobody here really listens to them much, but you probably should.

I agree with all of those, and from what I've heard Dead Hands Rising are sweet.

Only the Red Shore ep is essential though, Damo killed it on vox.

xMalcolmXx 06-08-2010 11:41 AM

i really like unconsecrated too. intro to misery hymn is so hatexmosh

2muchket! 06-08-2010 01:03 PM

Yeah forgot about that song.

Def brings da hmosh

bloozclooz 06-08-2010 01:10 PM

Graves of Valor
Among the Devoured
Molotov Solution
(the) plasmarifle

although i'm sure someone will disagree with me

2muchket! 06-08-2010 01:17 PM

Graves of Valor yes.

The rest **** off.

bloozclooz 06-08-2010 01:24 PM

dude, plasmarifle is awsum

2muchket! 06-08-2010 01:42 PM

not a fan

nevertoolate 06-08-2010 05:05 PM

youse also missed

Whisteria Cottage - Heathen
The Acacia Strain - 3750
Conducting From The Grave - When Legends Become Dust
Within The Ruins - Creature

bloozclooz 06-08-2010 05:44 PM

well we're getting nowhere. we all have a couple core bands that we think are better than the rest, and we're going to just keep repeating ourselves.

nevertoolate 06-08-2010 05:46 PM

there has been no repeating as yet

bloozclooz 06-08-2010 05:47 PM

Xplisit 06-08-2010 07:03 PM

but with that being said, a lot of the albums that have been proposed are far from essential deathcore, if there is such a thing

RetiredAt21 06-08-2010 07:09 PM
but with that being said, a lot of the albums that have been proposed are far from essential deathcore, if there is such a thing
Gonna have to say no, I've never heard any MUST LISTEN dxc. I mean I like some this **** but it definitely isn't groundbreaking or whatever.

xMalcolmXx 06-08-2010 07:21 PM

yeah, the list for essential deathcore would be like an album or 2 at best. if we make a list it should just be the deathcore that doesn't absolutely blow.

nevertoolate 06-08-2010 07:21 PM
but with that being said, a lot of the albums that have been proposed are far from essential deathcore, if there is such a thing
true, of course, but its a dec guide/suggestions to go by tbh

bloozclooz 06-08-2010 08:32 PM

ohh trust me i can see things getting far worse....

RetiredAt21 06-09-2010 11:46 AM

Deathcore is already limping along barely alive, I don't think we're ever gonna see a deathcore album that's incredible or whatever.

MizaelMassacre 06-09-2010 11:50 AM

Is Veil of Maya still considered deathcore?

bloozclooz 06-09-2010 12:54 PM

yep
