I love Orthodox, great lyrics.

Daven 03-02-2008 09:18 PM

Orthodox is very very great.

C.O.A. 03-03-2008 02:16 AM

So Bongripper is coming out with a new album soon.

They have some teaser clips on their myspace if anybody is interested.

Nostalgia 03-03-2008 02:24 AM

Didn't they just release Heroine?

C.O.A. 03-03-2008 02:37 AM

Heroine came out in November of 2007 I think.

publicastration 03-03-2008 02:45 AM

Oh my god.

Baroness is amazing.

Discuss.

Well I wouldn't call them amazing, but I enjoy them quite a bit. I like The Red Album a lot.

Tyler would say they are a big "Meh".

Kage 03-03-2008 04:43 AM

They were shown on MTV2, so that's enough to make me not like them anymore.

Phototropic 03-03-2008 06:14 AM

gmoneyguy 03-03-2008 11:42 AM

Chris, how do you like that digital record player?

ATM 03-03-2008 11:44 AM

Pretty nice, man. Granted, I still haven't been able to plug it in through a stereo because I don't have one with an RCA input, but I have been playing it through my PC.

It's cool to be able to rip my vinyls onto my computer.

gmoneyguy 03-03-2008 11:59 AM

I've been thinking about buying a player similar to that.

ATM 03-03-2008 12:20 PM

It's worth if if you are not one of those OMG ITS NOT A REAL RECORD PLAYER people :P

Cool stuff man. I think I want to start a doom band lol.

jrowa001 03-03-2008 09:23 PM

i have been listening to The River a lot lately. any fans?

Shattered_Future 03-03-2008 09:34 PM

Well, since I love my female vocals in my metal, then yes. They're quite good...nice and heavy, and their singer doesn't sound like every other dime a dozen high pitched soprano bitches. The lower vocals work much better with the music.

Phototropic, once again, your band's music is fantastic. I'd buy an EP or album if one comes out.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-03-2008 09:40 PM

I think that Jondur bloke might be a fan.

jrowa001 03-03-2008 09:41 PM

yeah i really like Vicky's vocals. you should check out Aesma Daeva. they are a female fronted gothic doom band. their album Dawn of the New Athens is solid

My very gay computer says no to listening to stuff on Gayspace. What's your band sound like? Would I like them?

Shattered_Future 03-04-2008 07:46 AM

I always think a non-crappy version of Isis when I hear them. What that means to you, I couldn't say...

gmoneyguy 03-04-2008 08:37 AM

What? They don't sound like Isis. They sound more like heavy nu-metal.

Jondur 03-04-2008 10:05 AM

Isis? Heavy Nu-Metal? It's not sounding good so far!!! Nonetheless I'll check it out on my home computer as they're actually reasonable local to me (this being a metal desert).

Phototropic 03-04-2008 12:34 PM
Yeah, they said that I can play the tracks, I just can't find my mp3s :(

Phototropic, once again, your band's music is fantastic. I'd buy an EP or album if one comes out.

My very gay computer says no to listening to stuff on Gayspace. What's your band sound like? Would I like them?

I always think a non-crappy version of Isis when I hear them. What that means to you, I couldn't say...
Thats nice but....I like Isis, can't see whats crappy about them!

Where you from dude?! I wouldn't lump us into Nu-metal myself

Although we are majorly inspired by Isis, we sound nothing like them

gmoneyguy 03-04-2008 12:36 PM

idk, the vocals remind me of nu-metal.

Phototropic 03-04-2008 12:46 PM

What's your favorite While Heaven Wept album?

Kage 03-04-2008 02:11 PM

I always think you guys are talking about White Heaven at first glance, but then I realize that White Heaven is good music.

Nostalgia 03-04-2008 02:12 PM

That doesn't really make any sense, unless you're implying I don't discuss good music.

Kage 03-04-2008 02:14 PM

That'd be the implication.

Nostalgia 03-04-2008 02:15 PM

Yeah, at least I don't wank over OM 100 percent of the time.
